Class A North
No. 3 Howell 1, No. 9 Marlboro 1
Tye Maser scored in the 30th minute for Howell and the Rebels nearly won it in overtime with a goal that was disallowed for offsides, but Howell and the host Mustangs settled for a draw.
Marlboro drew even early in the second half on a 25-yard strike by Ryan Cohen off a set-up from Cade Jacobs.
Howell's near-golden-goal came off the foot of Marcelo Romano in the final minute, with the officials ruling it deflected off of an offsides player.
No. 7 Middletown North 2, No. 11 Middletown South 0
Junior Josiah Stepney scored an early goal and drew a red card against the last defender in the 50th minute to spark the Lions to a win over the rival Eagles.
Stepney ripped his eighth goal off a pass from Tommy Valinotti in the seventh minute for a 1-0 Middletown North lead that lasted into the second half.
In the 50th minute, Stepney won the ball from Middletown South center back Brett Denery and took off toward the goal. To prevent the goal, Denery dragged Stepney down and was issued a red card for committing the intentional foul as the last defender.
Middletown North added its second goal in the 65th, when Travis Soto hammered a shot from 15 yards out.
Class A Central
No. 2 Holmdel 5, Wall 4
David Weiner scored a hat trick on Senior Night and the Hornets withstood a late charge from the Crimson Knights to remain unbeaten.
Seniors Frankie Brusco and Younis Kamel also scored for Holmdel, which went up 4-1 and 5-2 late in the second half before Wall scored twice in the final minute to close the gap.
Jake Petillo, Christian Garduza, Dylan Pratola and Tanner Griffin scored the Wall goals.
Class A South
Jackson Memorial 3, Brick Memorial 2
Sophomore Connor McNiff scored what proved to be the game-winner and the Jaguars snapped a three-game losing streak and four-game winless streak by beating the Mustangs.
Seniors Shaan Moon scored in the first half and Tyler Korinchak added a goal in the second half for Jackson Memorial.
Sophomore Landon Amalfa scored a first-half equalizer for Brick Memorial and junior Declan Smith notched a second-half goal for the Mustangs.
No. 12 Central 3, Jackson Liberty 2 (OT)
Landon Kavanaugh scored the golden goal in the eighth minute of overtime off a pass from Jordan Benzon and the Golden Eagles spoiled a comeback effort by the Lions to remain in a first-place tie in Class A South.
Dave Kroon and Benzon each scored for Central within the first five minutes to quickly establish a 2-0 lead for the Golden Eagles.
Giovanni Batista got one back for Jackson Liberty off a pass from Rich Kosek in the 65th minute and Dan Salazar scored a dramatic equalizer in the 78th after positioning himself for the rebound on a shot that hit the crossbar.
No. 4 Southern 2, Toms River East 0
Junior Aidan Donnelly scored a first-half goal and assisted another by classmate Nick Prosperi to help pace the Rams to a win over the Raiders, keeping pace with Central for first place in Class A South.
No. 5 Toms River North 3, Toms River South 0
Kosta Papanikolas scored the first of his two goals during the first minute and later added one in the second half as the Mariners outdueled the rival Indians.
Class B North
No. 6 Manasquan 7, Freehold Boro 0
Jorge Cruz Cruz scored two goals and the Warriors bounced back from a lopsided loss to St. Rose by subjecting the Colonials to the same fate.
Cristian Gonzalez, Cruz Farkas, Luke Roy and Luke Beavis each added a goal for Manasquan.
No. 15 Ocean 3, Matawan 0
Connor Shaw finished two goals and Noor Eraky added a goal and an assist as the Spartans and goalkeeper Zach Frabizio rolled to a win over the Huskies.
No. 8 Colts Neck 9, Neptune 1
Freshman Sean Moore racked up another hat trick and Kyle Moore checked in with two goals of his own as the Cougars coasted to a win over the Scarlet Fliers.
Class B Central
Henry Hudson 2, Keyport 0
Dylan Gonzalez opened the scoring three minutes before the half off a feed from Ubaldo Garcia and Tyler Studer provided an insurance tally six minutes into the seconds half to power the Admirals to a win over the Red Raiders.
St. John Vianney 5, Red Bank Catholic 0
Mason Boles went off for a hat trick to go along with an assist and the Lancers rode five first-half goals to a shutout win over the Caseys.
Will Keegan and David Salvesen each scored a goal while Kyle DiMarco and Anthony Marano each contributed a pair of assists.
St. Rose 2, Point Beach 2
Jack Kane scored the equalizer for St. Rose in the 80th minute and the Purple Roses salvaged a draw against the Garnet Gulls.
Dylan Ryan and Ronan Lynch scored the two Point Beach goals.
Class B South
Lacey 3, Lakewood 0
Matteo Pasqualichio capped the scoring with his 10th goal of the season and the Lions beat the Piners for their fifth straight win.
Sophomore Aiden Schmitt opened the scoring in the 19th minute with a header on a cross from classmate Anthony Intrano. Junior Colin Hayes extended the Lacey lead to 2-0 with a goal in the 25th minute before Pasqualichio scored his goal in the 62nd.
Freshman Dylan Graham nailed down his fourth shutout in goal.
Manchester 4, Point Boro 2
Aidan Clauburg scored the winning goal in the 69th minute and Joey Kurak polished off a hat trick and a Hawks win over the Panthers in the 71st minute.
Kurak scored in the 22nd and 34th minutes to stake Manchester to a 2-0 lead before Point Boro roared back with second-half goals from Owen Clearwaters and Chase Norling. Clearwaters got Point Boro on the board in the 62nd with a goal off a turnover in the Manchester third and Norling buried a free kick in the 68th.
Clauburg answered right back by volleying a pass from Gabe Occhipinti and two minutes later, Kurak scored his third off a pass from Josh Rosado.
Occhipinti also assisted Kurak's first goal to give him a two-assist day.
Pinelands 3, Donovan Catholic 2
Senior Matt Sarfo scored his second goal of the game during the 65th minute to provide the Wildcats with the winning goal against the Griffins.
Max Durazzo scored the equalizer for Donovan Catholic in the 55th minute after Pinelands took a 2-1 lead into halftime. Sarfo tied the game, 1-1, with a goal in the 16th minute and Dan Eberlin gave the Wildcats the lead with a goal in the 25th.
Matt Fletcher scored off a pass from Angel Lopez to give Donovan Catholic a 1-0 lead in the 10th.
Brick 3, Barnegat 0
Mateusz Zorba scored two goals while Josh Boyle added a goal and an assist on Senior Night and the Green Dragons blanked the Bengals.
