No. 8 Colts Neck 5, Matawan 1

Kyle Moore continued his red-hot week and overall season with four goals on Saturday, as the Cougars hammered the Huskies to move to within a draw or better of a second straight Class B North championship.

Moore scored two goals and an assist in a 5-3 win over Manasquan on Thursday and scored two goals in each half on Saturday at Matawan. Jonah Chiang scored the other goal for Colts Neck, which took a 3-0 lead into the half.

Frankie Brusco went off for a hat trick and the Hornets cruised to a win over the Patriots. Stephan Kapranov and Kieran Hynes accounted for the other two Holmdel goals.

No. 5 Middletown North 5, Neptune 0

Josiah Stepney struck for a hat trick and assisted Middletown North's other two goals as the Lions rolled to a win over the Scarlet Fliers.

Tommy Valinotti also contributed a goal and an assist and Nick Dinella chipped in with a goal for Middletown North

No. 11 St. Rose 2, Freehold Boro 0

Isaiah Taylor and Jack Tiernan each scored a goal before halftime and the Purple Roses beat the Colonials to extend their unbeaten streak to 11 straight matches.

Diego Nieves was denied on an initial shot before Taylor slammed in the followed for a 1-0 St. Rose lead. Tiernan also scored on a follow-up, rebounding his own miss and putting it away for a 2-0 Purple Roses lead.

Shore 6, Piscataway Magnet 0

Six different players scored a goal, including the first varsity goals for Lorenzo Tagliasacchi and Kevin Silva, as the Blue Devils handled Piscataway Magnet.

Tagliasacchi also assisted a goal, while Stephen Molnar, Lukas Villa, Sean Newbert and Joao Viera each found the back of the net with a goal.

Chris Dailey broke a scoreless tie with a goal in the 53rd minute off a pass from Colin Roarty and the Crimson Knights finished off a shutout win over the Falcons.

Bo Pepe put the game away with a penalty kick with 2:20 remaining in the second half. Charles Schirmer saved eight shots to secure the clean sheet in goal.

East Brunswick 2, Jackson Memorial 1 (OT)

No. 1 CBA 3, Monroe 1

Dimitry Corba scored the tying penalty kick in the 46th minute and assisted Brayden Perry's go-ahead goal in the 74th as the Colts recovered from a last-second goal by Monroe in the first half to upend the Falcons.

Monroe took the lead on a goal with no time left on the clock in the first half, which CBA answered with Corba's penalty kick six minutes into the second half.

A minute after Perry's game-winner, Phil Bodenski provided some breathing room with a well-struck volley for CBA's third goal.
