Welcome to the 2019 edition of the Shore Sports Network’s top plays, highlighting the most dazzling and exciting moments from Shore Conference football action, brought to you by Jersey Shore Institute of Health and Wellness.

This week we take a look at the top clips from Week 8. We can’t be filming every game at once, so if you have a great clip on Hudl, YouTube, Vimeo or some other service where it can be embedded, or if you have the raw video file, feel free to email me a link at bob.badders@townsquaremedia.com or tweet it to me at @Bob_Badders.

9. Six the other way

Donovan Catholic's Mysun Esdaile jumps the route and takes it 35 yards to the house for a defensive touchdown in a 48-0 win over Lakewood.

8. Nik the Brick

It's tough to bring down Barnegat's Nik Dileo, as evident by him breaking multiple tackles on this 21-yard run against his former team, Pinelands.

7. Play of the Dei

With Mater Dei holding a 3-0 lead on Manalapan late in the third quarter, Notre Dame-bound senior Clarence Lewis got behind the defense and hauled in a 67-yard touchdown pass from Alex Brown to give the Seraphs a two-score lead.

6. Volk-tron

There weren't many bright spots offensively for Rumson in its loss to Jackson, but this catch and run for a 74-yard touchdown by running back John Volker gave the Bulldogs a momentary lead.

5. Block Party

It was a great weekend for special teams plays around the Shore with multiple blocked punts. First, Howell's Craig Iandoli blocked a punt that teammate Christian Rath returned 40 yards for a touchdown against Brick Memorial.

In Pinelands' game against Barnegat, Connor Harris blocks it and John Morrin recovered for the touchdown.

A huge play in Long Branch's 26-21 win over St. John Vianney was Jayson Glasper blocking a punt and Jarell Sherin recovering for a touchdown.

And finally, Barnegat's Michael DiPianta knifes through the line and blocks a punt deep in Pinelands territory to set up a Bengals' touchdown.

4. DJ drops a beat

Keyport's DJ Thomson makes a great play to corral a tipped pass and bring it down for an 80-yard touchdown reception against rival Keansburg.

3. Run Romeo Run

On the first play from scrimmage in Colts Neck's 13-10 win over Jackson Liberty, senior running back Romeo Thomas broke off this 90-yard touchdown run.

2. Touchdown Treb

The Shore Conference's leading scorer and rusher had another huge game in Ocean's 42-7 win over Marlboro, which included 213 yards rushing, a 60-yard punt return touchdown and this 96-yard touchdown run.

1. Zach Attack

During the Mariners' 44-7 win over Toms River South in the annual 'Civil War' game, junior wide receiver Zach Browne came up with a Catch-of-the-Year nominee with this great one-handed catch for a 27-yard touchdown.
