The game was scoreless at the half before Central’s Amanda Carolan scored shortly after intermission to get the Golden Eagles (19-3) on the board.  South standout Taylor Troutman scored the equalized with a beautiful left foot shot with 25 minutes remaining and it was Troutman who helped set up the game-winner by freshman Katie Hammack with just under 8 minutes to play in regulation.

The Indians improve to 20-2 and collect their first sectional crown since they won back-to-back Group 3 state titles in 2001 and 2002 under Coach Ed Graichen, who ironically is now a Central assistant.
