Ice hockey coverage coming to Shore Sports Network this winter

The COVID-19 pandemic has altered so much in our lives and in the world of high school sports, the landscape has changed drastically.

For us at the Shore Sports Network, however, there is a silver lining to the restructuring of the traditional winter sports season. A sport we're long wished to cover will now be part of our comprehensive multimedia offerings for the 2021 season.

With wrestling being moved the newly-created for 2021 "Season 3" and beginning in March, Managing Editor Bob Badders will now take up the Shore Conference ice hockey beat during Season 2. Being back on the ice hockey beat is a return to his roots, so to speak, as Badders previously covered Shore Conference ice hockey from 2004-2010.

Shore Sports Network's 2021 ice hockey coverage will include:

• Game coverage
• Photos
• Video highlights
• Weekly Top 10
• Weekly Player of the Week poll

We already have some hockey coverage on shoresportsnetwork.com and with the regular season games beginning this Friday, Jan. 15, be on the lookout for division previews, the 2021 season schedule, the preseason Top 10 and more.
