Monmouth used 16 hits and scored all 10 of its runs in the first three innings to down the Dolphins. Six Hawks recorded at least two hits in the contests, with Savannah Simons leading the Blue & White with three knocks.

On Sunday, Mount St. Mary's snapped a five-game losing streak to the Hawks with a 7-3 win. The Mountaineers jumped ahead with a four-run second inning and kept the Hawks at a distance the rest of the way. Monmouth would push two runs across in the top of the seventh, but the rally fell short to drop the Hawks to 3-7 overall on the 2024 season.
