Week 3
1. St. John Vianney (7-2) Previous Rank: 1 - SJV split on the week, defeating Point Boro in conference play 62-27 and falling to Blair Academy 49-38 at the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase. SJV could not get it going in the second half and gave Blair several second chances on the glass. SJV will host No. 12 Holmdel on Monday and travel to No. 3 Manasquan on Thursday.
2. Red Bank Catholic (6-1) Previous Rank: 2 -.RBC started the week defeating No. 4 Ocean Township 71-39. Trailing 10-8 after the 1st quarter, RBC outscored Ocean 63-29 the final three. RBC fell to Morris Catholic, who is the No. 1 team in New Jersey, 49-46. RBC led at halftime 29-26, but was held to 5 points in the 3rd quarter. The Caseys had a chance to tie it but could not get a clean shot off. RBC travels to Marlboro on Tuesday and hosts Freehold Township on Thursday and No. St. Rose on Saturday.

3. Manasquan (9-1) Previous Rank: 3 - Manasquan picked up two more victories to go to 9-1 on the season. The Warriors defeated Freehold Boro early in the week and followed that by defeating the No. 10 team in New Jersey Gill St. Bernard at the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase 41-38. Manasquan starts the week traveling to No. 14 Neptune on Monday in the first of three games against Shore 16 teams. On Thursday they host No. 1 St. John Vianney and Saturday they face No. 10 Red Bank Regional at the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. 

4. Ocean Township (8-2) Previous Rank: 4 - Ocean had a busy week playing three teams ranked in the top ten of the Shore 16 and going 3-1. They started the week losing to No. 2 RBc 71-39, but rebounded against Point Pleasant Beach 62-37. Saturday they defeated No. 7 Wall 54-38 and Sunday they defeated No. 8 St. Rose 35-30 at the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase. This week Ocean hosts Lakewood on Tuesday and Toms River North on Thursday. Friday they travel to Asbury Park. 

5. St. Rose (7-3) Previous Rank 8 - St. Rose went 2-1 on the week to improve to 7-3 on the season. The Purple Roses defeated No. 9 Rumson to start the week and followed that by defeating Raritan. They fell to No. 4 Ocean at the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase 35-30. St, Rose travels to Long Branch on Tuesday and hosts No. 12 Holmdel on Thursday. Saturday they play No. 2 RBC. 

6. Trinity Hall (5-4) Previous Rank: 5 - Trinity Hall went 1-1 last week in two non-conference games. The Monarchs fell to Franklin 55-51 and defeated St. Thomas Aquinas in the Hoop Group Boardwalk Showcase 49-35. Trinity Hall became the first Shore Conference team to defeat STA this season. Trinity Hall hosts No. 11 Ranney on Wednesday and travels to Colts Neck on Thursday. Saturday Trinity Hall faces Mount St. Mary in the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. Mount St. Mary is 2-1 against Shore Conference teams this season.

7. Wall (7-2) Previous Rank: 7 - Wall was handed their second loss this season to No. 4 Ocean on Saturday 54-38. Earlier in the week Wall battled No. 12 Manchester to a 70-66 victory. The Lady Knights were trailing by 11 points in the 2nd half and came back to win. Both Shayne Eldridge and Emily Tvrdik will be hitting the 1,000 point milestone this week.  Wall host No. 11 Ranney on Monday and Pinelands Wednesday. Thursday they travel to Matawan and Saturday they play Hightstown in the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. 

8. Rumson-Fair Haven (7-3) Previous Rank: 9  - Rumson went 2-1 on the week, falling to current No. 5 ranked team St. Rose to start the week. The Bulldogs defeated Marlboro and Shore Regional in non-divisional games.  Rumson travels to No. 10 Red Bank Regional in a Class B North game. Saturday they play West Orange in the Coaches Choice USA College Showcase at Franklin High School.

9. Howell (6-2) Previous Rank: 14 - Howell was the biggest mover this week in the Shore 16 after defeating two teams ranked in the Shore 16. They started the week defeating Point Boro, who was ranked No. 13, 45-36. They followed that by edging out Red Bank Regional, who was ranked No. 6 last week, in overtime 31-30. They ended the week defeating Toms River East 51-31. Howell hosts division rivalry Freehold Township on Monday and travels to Central Regional on Wednesday. Thursday the Rebels host Middletown North. 

10. Red Bank Regional (4-2) Previous Rank: 6 - The Bucs lost their only game last week to Howell, who was ranked No. 14 at the time. A back-and-forth game that was sent to overtime on Riley Wheeler's basket in the closing seconds, was decided by one foul-shot in overtime, 31-30. RBR will look to move back up the rankings this week when they host No. 8 Rumson in a Class B North game on Wednesday. Thursday they travel to Manalapan and Saturday they play No. 3 Manasquan at the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. 

11. Ranney (4-3) Previous Rank: 11 - Ranney defeated Holmdel, who was previously ranked No. 10, in their only game of the week. Ranney is 3-0 in Shore Conference play after the 61-49 victory. Junior Haley Poser continues to shoot the ball well, scoring 21 points and going 6 for 6 from the free-throw line. Ranney has a busy week traveling to No. 7 Wall on Monday and No. 6 Trinity Hall on Wednesday. Thursday they travel to Freehold Boro and they end the week playing No. 13 Manchester in the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic.

12. Holmdel (5-3) Previous Rank: 10 - Holmdel went 1-1 on the week, defeating Toms River North to open the week and falling to No. 11 Ranney. Senior Allison Cannon continues to perform on both sides of the ball, averaging 21 points per game and 7.5 steals last week. Holmdel is on the road against No. 1 St. John Vianney on Monday and No. 5 St. Rose on Thursday. Saturday they play Notre Dame in a non-conference game in the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. 

13. Manchester (5-4) Previous Rank: 12 - Manchester went the week 1-1 and ended a three game losing streak. They lost to No. 7 Wall 70-66 after being up 11 in the 4th quarter to start the week. Manchester rebounded and defeated Southern 69-58 later in the week. NC State commit Devyn Quigley averaged 37.5 points per game during the week. Quigley needs 28 points to reach 2,000 and 39 points to become Manchester’s all-time leading scorer. Manchester travels to Toms River South on Tuesday and hosts No. 16 Jackson Memorial on Thursday. Saturday they play No. 11 Ranney in the Coaches vs Cancer Showcase at Donovan Catholic. 

14. Neptune (8-3) Previous Rank: 16 - Neptune won three straight games this week against non-divisional opponents to move to 8-3 on the season. Junior Christa Ramos continues her great season, averaging 20.6 points per game during the week. Neptune will have their toughest game of the season on Monday against No. 3 Manasquan. They end the week traveling to Long Branch on Thursday and hosting Freehold Township on Friday. 

15. Point Pleasant Boro (5-5) Previous Rank 13 - The Panthers dropped two games this week, but both were to teams in the Shore 16. Point Boro fell to previously ranked No. 14 Howell and No. 1 SJV this week. They picked up a victory against Jackson Liberty. This week they travel to Freehold Boro on Monday and host Raritan on Thursday.

16. Jackson Memorial (6-2) Previous Rank: 15 - Jackson Memorial went 2-1 on the week picking up two non-divisional victories and dropping a non-conference game to Cinnaminson 41-27. This week they travel to Brick Memorial on Tuesday in a Class A South battle and then to No. 13 Manchester on Thursday to see who is the best team in Ocean County. Saturday they host Middletown North at the Coaches vs Cancer event at Donovan Catholic.
