Girls Basketball – Official Jersey Shore Playoff Pods and Schedule
The postseason field is set in Shore Conference girls basketball, as one of the country's girls basketball hotbeds gets ready to crown an unofficial champion during the final week of the 2021 season.
Out of the 42-team field, the top eight seeds have been placed in the top pod, which is is loosely dubbed the "Championship Pod" that will play a three-round tournament to crown an unofficial Shore Conference champion for 2021.
The next three pods will operate in the same fashion while the bottom two pods - on with four teams and the other with six - feature predetermined matchups throughout the week.
Should a team be forced to withdraw from the tournament, they will not be replaced by a team from a lower pod. Instead, that team's next opponent will receive a bye into the next round.
The tournament will operate every other day (Tuesday, Thursday and Saturday), with the better seed hosting each game (or agreeing on a neutral site). Pod champions are scheduled to be crowned on Saturday, March 6.
