KENNY PICKETT is a name that’s been very prevalent in these past few months following a tremendous final season playing quarterback at the University of Pittsburgh where he threw for over 4,000 yards and 42 TD’s and broke many season and career passing records.  Pickett was a finalist for the Heisman Trophy and finished 3rd in the voting for college football’s most prestigious award.

The former Ocean Township HS standout has spent the past 4-5 months preparing for next week’s NFL Draft where he is a sure-fire 1st round pick with projections having him as high as #6 and as low the late first round.

The NFL Draft is set for next weekend in Las Vegans with the first round on Thursday and Pickett hopes he does not have to wait too long to hear his name called.  He'll watch the draft from his Monmouth County home surrounded by family and friends.  We talked about his college career, preparing for the draft and his often-discussed small hands.
