Hagerstown quickly erased an early 4-0 deficit and came back to top the BlueClaws 10-8 on Friday night at Municipal Stadium. With the win, the Suns have now taken all six meetings from the BlueClaws this year.

The game started perfectly for the BlueClaws, with JP Crawford and Carlos Tocci pairing singles before Dylan Cozens hit his first home run of the season (15th professional) to put the BlueClaws up 3-0. Lakewood added a run in the inning on an RBI single by Samuel Hiciano to go up 4-0.

Lakewood starter Ranfi Casimiro had a 1-2-3 first inning but John Wooten started the second inning with his first home run and the Suns added four more to take the lead. A three-run double by Wilmer Difo capped a four-run second inning and chased Casimiro.

Hagerstown added four more runs in the third inning with Difo's three-run double ending the night of Casimiro.

Julio Reyes came in for the BlueClaws and retired all 10 hitters he faced, letting Lakewood get back in the game.

In the fourth, the BlueClaws scored three times off Dixon Anderson. RBI groundouts by Carlos Tocci and Zach Green scored two of the runs and JP Crawford also scored on a wild pitch.

Tocci went 3-5 for his third three-hit game of the week (he had two last year). He is 11-19 since starting the year 5-40. Crawford had his second three-hit game of the year for the BlueClaws as well, while Cozens had his first to go along with a home run and three RBIs.

The series concludes Saturday night at 5:05. RHP Shane Martin (0-2, 7.36) starts for Lakewood against RHP Jake Johansen (1-0, 3.00) of Hagerstown.
