Shore team: Howell

Junior Shane Reitsma placed third at 170 pounds, senior Darby Diedrich finished fourth at 138 pounds and senior Christian Murphy took fifth at 182 pounds as the Rebels finished 14th in the team standings, the highest among the three New Jersey teams competing.

The Rebels totaled 93 points while Camden Catholic was 18th with 86.5 points and DePaul Catholic was 21st with 80 points.

Reitsma reached the quarterfinals where he fell to Kiski Area's Nick Delp, 8-7, but rebounded to win four straight consolation bouts, including earning revenge with a 12-8 decision over Delp in the third-place bout. Reitsma was sixth in the NJSIAA Tournament at 170 pounds last season.

Diedrich reached the semifinals where he lost by fall to St. Edward's (Ohio) Bryce Hepner. He then defeated Hempfield's Ty Linsenbigler, 3-1, in the consolation semifinals before defaulting to Saegertown's Kenny Kiser to finish fourth.

Murphy was defeated by Belle Vernon's Scott Joll, 10-5, in the quarterfinals but responded with a 3-1 win over Malvern Prep's Nicholas Florschutz in the blood round and then pinned Cedar Cliff's Elijah Ikeda in the consolation quarterfinals. Murphy was defeated by Mt. Lebanon's Luke Stout, 13-6, in the consolation semifinals but ended his tournament on a high note with a 12-2 major decision over Oak Park-River Forest's Daemyen Middlebrooks to finish fifth and also earn his 100th career win.

He had a seven-second pin in the quarterfinals and pinned Neptune's Christopher DeSopo in the championship bout.
