Senior Josh Lemus and junior Jonathan Toichihuitl scored two goals each and the Piners coasted to a win over the Bengals to open their season. Both Lemus and Toichihuitl scored a goal in each half with Toichihuitl assisting the second goal by Lemus five minutes into the second half.

Senior Junior Bravo opened the scoring in the 14th minute off an assist from junior Nataniel Zuniga. Brian Morales assisted Lemus's first goal in the 18th minute and senior Kristian Talas set up the final goal by Toichihuitl.

Senior Barrett Bremekamp scored the game's lone goal and the Admirals took down East Brunswick Tech to open their season with a win.

No. 2 CBA 2, Delran 0

Senior Jack Gill scored off a Delran turnover in the sixth minute and junior Luke Pascarella slammed home an insurance goal in the 73rd to lead the Colts to an opening-day win over the Bears - the three-time defending South Jersey Group II champions.

Pascarella scored from the middle of the 18-yard box off cross from Joe Lozowski, whom Gill set up with a through-ball to clear space for the cross.

Senior goalkeeper Eric Wnorowski saved five shots to earn the shutout. Senior Dom Bellomo nearly added a third goal in the 76th minute but Delran keeper Berkant Haliloglu made a leaping save on the strike ticketed for the upper right of the goal.
