Toms River East 2, Brick 1 (OT)

Junior Alex Heid scored the golden goal off a pass from sophomore Noah Raimonde in the 82nd minute and the Raiders outlasted the Green Dragons to remain unbeaten. Raimonde ran the ball down near the right corner and centered it to a wide-open Heid for the winning finish.

Raimonde also scored Toms River East's first goal after the two teams went into halftime scoreless.

No. 6 Southern 0, Toms River South 0

Senior goalkeeper Jalen Folsom saved 15 shots in 100 minutes to help the Indians fend off the Rams and earn a scoreless draw.

Southern outshot Toms River South, 20-4, but could not solve the Indians' two-time All-Shore keeper - who made key diving saves in the 48th and 62nd minutes to thwart the Rams' two best chances.

 

Class B Central

Point Beach 7, Henry Hudson 0

Freshman Josh Boyan recorded a first-half hat trick and the Garnet Gulls coasted past the Admirals. Boyan also assisted a second-half goal by junior Owen Marcoux.

Senior Jack Foley, freshman Collin Hutton and sophomore Luke Zylinski each added a second-half goal for Point Beach.

Keyport 1, Asbury Park 0

Senior Sal Tornetto scored a second-half goal off a feed from senior Adrian Sabatino and the Red Raiders upended the Blue Bishops, with sophomore goalkeeper Alex Bernardino saving eight shots to earn the shutout.

St. Rose at Mater Dei Prep, 4 p.m.

 

Class B South

Manchester 1, Lakewood 0

Junior Xavier Millan scored off a pass from sophomore Brandon Sogness in the second half to help the Hawks edge the Piners. Senior goalkeeper Rich Mariotti saved 12 shots to secure the clean sheet.

Barnegat 2, Point Boro 1

Senior Matt White and freshman Jess Hedlund each scored a goal in the first half and the Bengals held on to beat the Panthers for the third straight time dating back to the 2017 season.

Senior Troy Schnappauf scored off an assists from Christian D'Amato in the second half, giving Point Boro its first goal of the season after being shutout in its first three matches.

Donovan Catholic 5, Jackson Liberty 0

Sophomore Preston Kyriakoulis scored two goals and assisted another to ignite a one-sided win for the Griffins over the Lions.

Senior Nick Calvetto assisted both Kyriakoulis goals in the eighth and 48th minutes and added one of his own in the 35th to send the Griffins into halftime with a 3-0 lead.

Kyriakoulis set up a goal by senior Vin Loffredo in the 22nd minute and Loffredo assisted the fifth Donovan Catholic goal, scored by senior Ronan Bova in the 70th.

Pinelands 2, Lacey 0

Junior Johnny Hart scored a goal in each half and the Wildcats blanked the Lions to pick up a key B South win early in the season. Hart one-timed a service by senior Tony Aguilar out of the air and into the net for the first goal of the game in the 27th minute.

Pinelands put the game away in the 76th when Hart ripped a left-footed strike for the second Wildcats goal.
