Class A North

No. 1 CBA 6, Neptune 3

Six different players scored a goal for CBA and the Colts (13-0, 10-0) stormed out to a 6-0 lead en route to a win over the Scarlet Fliers (1-11, 1-11). Patrick Kollman, Tom Judge, Jack Gill, Joe Lozowski, Ryan O'Connor, and Scott Misson accounted for the CBA goals, all of which came in the first 50 minutes. Matt Thorsheim and Ryan Nigro each added two assists.

Wilby Alfred scored two of the three Neptune goals and Mickenna Church assisted two more. Marlin Morales scored the other Neptune goal and also assisted one of Alfred's goals.

Howell 1, Freehold Boro 0

Brandon Downey scored the game's lone goal in the 36th minute and the Rebels (3-9, 3-9) beat the Colonials (5-9, 5-7) to earn a season split. Howell squandered a 2-0 lead in a 3-2 overtime loss to Freehold Boro earlier in the year.

No. 2 Marlboro 2, Colts Neck 0

P.J. Ringel scored a goal and assisted another by Brian Dates to lead the Mustangs (12-1-1, 10-1-1) to a win over the Cougars (7-7, 6-7), which clinched Marlboro the outright Class A North public division championship.

Manalapan 1, No. 3 Freehold Twp. 0

Justin Goldberg scored the winning goal in the 60th minute on a cross from Conor O'Neill and the Braves (5-7-1, 5-7-0) knocked off the Patriots (8-5-1, 7-5-1).

 

Class A Central

No. 6 Matawan 0, Raritan 0

The Rockets (8-2-3, 5-2-3) remained alive in the Class A Central race by earning a draw against the first-place Huskies (9-2-2, 7-2-2).

Red Bank 2, Rumson-Fair Haven 1

Robbie DeMarco and Jake Lane each scored a goal and the Bucs (5-7-1, 5-5-1) held on to beat the Bulldogs (5-9, 4-7). Lane's goal off a set piece put Red Bank up 2-0 late in the second half before Mitch Lauria pulled Rumson within a goal in the 68th minute. The Bulldogs had a potential game-tying goal waved off due to an offsides call.

Holmdel 4, St. John Vianney 1

Kevin Healy returned from a broken fibula and scored four minutes into his first game of the season as the Hornets (7-4-1, 6-4-1) took down the Lancers (2-11, 1-11). Anthony Arena scored two goals and assisted two more and Joe Arena added a goal in the win.

 

Class A South

Southern 3, Toms River East 0

Collin McHugh, Nick Sinopoli and Sam Iacoves each scored a goal and the Rams (9-5, 7-5) blanked the Raiders (0-11-1, 0-11-1).

No. 10 Toms River North 2, No. 5 Toms River South 1

Sophomores Riley DeFeis and Nico Garcia each scored a goal and assisted the other as the Mariners (10-3, 10-2) rallied for a win over the Indians (11-2-1, 11-1-1), which keeps Toms River North alive in the Class A South race.

DeFeis knocked in a close-range follow in the 48th minute after Garcia cross a rebound across the mouth of the goal, which tied the game at 1.

Garcia then gave Toms River North the lead in the 60th minute, when DeFeis played the ball forward and Garcia beat the outside defender and chipped the ball over oncoming Indians keeper Dom Pizzi.

Toms River South jumped on top in the 22nd minute on a penalty kick by Clem Slavick after a handball call in the box.

 

Class B North

Long Branch 4, Monmouth 0

Venancio Fernandes scored two goals and Danny Santos-Silva and Rey Guzman scored a goal apiece as the Green Wave (6-8, 5-7) handled the Falcons (3-13, 2-11).

No. 9 Wall 3, No. 4 Ocean 2 (OT)

Ryan Gordon scored the equalizer with two seconds left in regulation and Dan Frisch-Harmon converted the winning penalty kick 45 seconds into overtime to give the Crimson Knights (10-4-2, 9-2-2) a thrilling, come-from-behind win over the Spartans (11-2, 10-2) to secure a regular-season sweep over their B North rivals. The win keeps Wall's hopes of a Class B North division title alive.

Gordon headed in a corner kick by Dakota Dobrovich-Fago with the final seconds ticking away in regulation. Gordon also scored an overtime winner in the first meeting between the two teams.

Frisch-Harmon's winner was his second goal of the game, with his first coming in the first half to give Wall a 1-0 lead.

Erick Vasquez pulled Ocean even less than two minutes later and the Spartans grabbed a 2-1 lead on a goal by Ivan Molina off a find from James Schutz prior to the half.

No. 7 Manasquan 2, Red Bank Catholic 1

Dulio Guerrero scored on a pass from Dan Del Guercio early in the second half to break a 1-1 tie and give the Warriors (10-3-1, 9-2-1) a win over the Caseys (1-14, 0-13), keeping them in the race for the B North title.

Alex Nichols capitalized on a Manasquan turnover in the 29th minute to pull RBC even with Manasquan. The Warriors jumped on top in the 19th when Aaron Kocienski scored off a throw-in by Pat Felsted.

Middletown North 3, Middletown South 1

Elliot De La Rosa score the tying goal in the second half and Justin McKenna buried two to give the Lions (9-3-1, 9-3-0) the lead en route to a win over the Eagles (5-9-1, 4-8-1).

Brendan Magner gave Middletown South a 1-0 lead early in the second half on a pass from Jake Skribner.

 

Class B South

Lakewood 2, Jackson Liberty 0

Nathanael Wharlton scored a goal and assisted another by Anthony Calixto six minutes later to help the Piners (8-8, 6-7) beat the Lions (5-8-1, 3-8-1) to remain alive in their pursuit for a Shore Conference Tournament berth.

Wharlton scored off a pass from Jonathan Toichihuitl in the 13th minute and set Calixto up for his10th goal in five games in the 19th.

 

Non-Division

Jackson Memorial 4, St. Rose 2

Mike Schoener scored two goals and the Jaguars (8-7) beat the Purple Roses (9-5) to qualify for the Shore Conference Tournament. Ben Patti and Dan Russo each added a goal for Jackson Memorial.

Matty O'Malley and Dave Calloway each scored a goal for St. Rose.

 

Non-Conference

Monroe 6, Shore 2

Dante Montesinos assisted goals by Mikey Barreca and Stevie Johnson, but the Blue Devils (6-4-4) could not keep up with the Falcons (12-1-1), who were led by a hat trick from Matt Mischler.
