Senior William DeLao scored the winning goal in the 63rd minute and the Green Dragons (1-1) handed the Blue Devils (0-3) their third straight loss to open the season.

Senior Alejandro Rodriguez opened the scoring for Brick in the 16th minute before junior Conor Creighton pulled Shore even at 1-1 with a goal in the 49th.

No. 6 Howell 3, Toms River East 2

Seniors Dylan Dougher, Joe Amitrano and Tom Adams each scored a goal and the Rebels (1-0) held off the Raiders (1-1) to win their season opener.

Senior Jason Tango assisted Amitrano's goal in the 22nd minute and Adams's goal in the 33rd while junior Mike Anello set up Dougher for the opening score in the 12th.

Peter Kozlej scored both Toms River East goals on direct kicks that cut the Raiders deficit to one score. He connected in the 28th minute to make it 2-1 and again in the 71st to pull Toms River East within 3-2.

Long Branch 2, Rumson-Fair Haven 1

Senior Stiviny Silva scored his fifth goal in three games and Patrick O'Dwyer notched the game-winner in the 64th minute to deliver the Green Wave (2-1) a win over the Bulldogs (0-1) in Rumson's opener.

Toms River North 4, Point Boro 0

Four different Toms River North (1-0-1) players scored a goal to lead the Mariners to a shutout win over the Panthers (0-2).

Senior Nico Garcia opened the scoring with a goal in the 23rd minute and sophomore Ali Baush, junior Jake Baurerband and senior Bernie Garcia each added an insurance goal in the second half.

No. 10 Freehold Twp. 5, St. John Vianney 0

Five different Freehold Township players scored a goal and senior Cristian Corcione assisted three of them as the Patriots (1-0-1) rolled to a win over the Lancers (1-2).

Corcione assisted the first two goals by sophomore Adam Havens in the third minute and Alonzo Konstantinidis in the 15th. He later set up a goal by senior Steve Grady that made the score 4-0 in the 60th minute.

Sophomore Zach Orrico finished off a pass from senior Bennett Messinger in the 35th and senior Joe Marchiano capped the scoring in the 71st on a Ben Parella assist.

Senior Evan Nastarowicz needed only two saves two nail down the shutout.

Union 2, Raritan 0

Jeremy Fonseca and Kariem St. Claire each scored a goal to lead the Farmers (1-0) to a shutout win over the Rockets (0-2).

Wall 4, St. Rose 2

Senior Aidan Newbury scored two goals and the Crimson Knights (1-1) rallied from a two-goal deficit to beat the Purple Roses (1-1) for their first win of the season.

Newbury scored the first Wall goal in the 18th minute off an assist from senior John Vaccaro and capped the scoring in the 53rd minute.

Senior Sean Campbell scored the tying goal in the 24th minute off a feed from junior Ryan Garibay and Wall grabbed a 3-2 lead in the 42nd on a goal by junior Tagg Acrum.

St. Rose struck first on an own goal in the second minute and extended the lead to 2-0 on a goal by senior Jonathan Caputo in the 16th minute.

Henry Hudson 11, Calvary Christian 0

Senior Wind Levybensetton recorded a hat trick to lead a scoring onslaught that propelled the Admirals (2-0) to their second straight win to open the season. Senior Lucas Mednis and junior Casey Haupt added two goals each and senior Odhran King pitched in a goal and three assists for Henry Hudson.

Senior Barrett Bremekamp, junior Tom Qirko and sophomore James Crowley each added a goal, with Bremekamp and Qirko also pitching in an assist apiece

No. 2 CBA 5, Peddie 0

Senior Jack Gill scored on an 18-yard strike in the opening minutes and later assisted a goal by senior Charlie Daly to key the Colts (2-0) to a lopsided win over Peddie.

Senior Dom Bellomo converted a penalty kick to make it 2-0 in the 10th minute and forced an own goal that made the score 4-0. Senior Zack Giglio capped the scoring in the 57th off a cross from senior Joe Lozowski.
