Senior Isaac Ball recorded a hat trick and the Colonials (7-4) cruised to a win over the Lions (0-9). Junior Mike Romero Vargas and senior Bekim Krkuti also scored a goal apiece for Freehold Boro.

No. 1 Holmdel 3, Pinelands 1

Holmdel scored three goals in the second half and the Hornets (11-0) rallied to beat the Wildcats (5-2-1) for their 11th straight win to open the season.

Senior Eric Hinds tied the game in the 54th off an assist from senior Jason Ng and 10 minutes later, junior Connor Hinds got a free kick to go for the game-winner.

Senior Jack Giamanco capped the scoring with a breakaway finish in the 69th for his 13th goal of the season.

Pinelands jumped out to a 1-0 lead in the 35th minute on a goal by junior Johnny Hart off a set piece from sophomore James Cahill.

Holmdel will enter the Shore Conference Tournament seeding proceedings Saturday as the only Shore Conference team with a perfect record and will take a 47-game unbeaten streak into its next match against Middletown North on Saturday.

Donovan Catholic 0, St. Rose 0

No. 4 CBA 4, Ocean

Senior Luke Pascarella scored two goals and the Colts (5-2-1) paid the Spartans (3-7) back in a rematch of last year's Shore Conference Tournament final - won by Ocean on a golden goal in the second overtime period.

Junior Shane Borenius assisted both Pascarella goals and also scored one of his own during CBA's four-goal first half.

Senior Michael Casper headed in a goal in the 31st minute to kick off a run of three CBA goals in a four-minute span, with Borenius and Pascarella adding to the frenzy.

No. 7 Freehold Twp. 2, Allentown 0

Junior Zach Orrico scored two goals and the Patriots (7-4) blanked the Redbirds (5-3). Orrico chipped a shot into the upper 90 in the first half and struck again early in the second off an assist by junior Josh Leonetti. Junior Josh Wilhelm saved seven shots to earn the clean sheet.
