Senior Jake Baurerband found the back of the net in the 23rd minute to stake Toms River North (4-0-1, 2-0-1) to a lead but Toms River East (3-2-2, 1-2-1) freshman Kajus Matazinkas answered in the 60th as the Mariners and Raiders settled for a draw over 100 minutes.

Brick Memorial 3, Howell 2 (OT)

Sophomore Anden Johnson scored the golden goal off a pass from senior Dan Gerard and the Mustangs (1-4) topped the Rebels (1-7) for their first win of the season.

Junior Jasiel Zamora scored off a feed from senior Joe Liberatore and senior Eduardo Suarez finished off a pass from junior Jack Fanning for the first two Brick Memorial goals - both of which came after the Mustangs went a man down on the field due to a red card in the 60th minute.

No. 1 Holmdel 1, Toms River South 0

Senior Mark Walier scored the game's lone goal in the 20th minute and the Hornets (8-0) edged the Indians (2-3-1) to remain unbeaten over the program's last 44 matches dating back to 2017.

No. 7 Southern 3, Long Branch 0

Junior Kevin Kiernan exploded for a second-half hat trick to carry the Rams (5-0-1) to a win over the Green Wave (2-4-1), keeping them unbeaten on the season.

No. 5 Marlboro 1, No. 4 Wall 0

Senior Mike Steinberg buried a deflected 25-yard shot in the 60th minute off a set-up from junior Kyle Lin and the Mustangs (7-0) blanked the Crimson Knights (5-2) to roll to their seventh straight win to open the season.

Wall had a chance to draw even after a hold in the box in the 65th but failed to convert a penalty kick. Junior Jake Pepe aslo drilled the left post in the 73rd minute in an attempt to tie the game.

Middletown South 4, Point Boro 0

Senior Danny Minze assisted a goal by classmate Tyler Jerome and added one of his own to help lead the Eagles (4-3-1) past the Panthers (1-7-1). Junior Matt Glynn opened the scoring off a pass from senior Matt Cozzi and junior Sean Liner capped it for Middletown South off feed from senior Joey Petzhold.

Rumson-Fair Haven 3, Ocean 2 (OT)

Sophomore Luke Pentikis scored the golden goal in the final minute of the first overtime and the Bulldogs (2-4) survived a thrilling comeback by the Spartans (3-4) to win in extra time.

Senior Eli Brandimarte scored with two seconds remaining in regulation to send the match to overtime, giving Ocean a chance to extend its winning streak to four games. The streak started when the Spartans rallied from a two-goal halftime deficit to beat Manasquan

Junior Joe Stypa gave Rumson a 1-0 lead in the first half and senior Andrew Singleton made it 2-0, Rumson, in the second before Ocean began its rally with a goal by sophomore Aidan Tisony in the final two minutes of regulation.

Monmouth 5, St. Rose 0

Five different Monmouth players scored a goal and five other players set them up as the Falcons (8-1) showcased their entire arsenal in a win over the Purple Roses (3-3-1).

Andy Sanchez, Diego Ibarra, Ryan Kuldanek, Aiden Hicks and Mason Martelloni handled the scoring while Bryan Leonard, Ethan Wallace, Tommy Siracusa, Probnoor Singh and Brett Minto took care of the assists.
