Class A Central

Raritan 2, Red Bank Catholic 0

Jake Fortune and Patrick Snyder each scored second half goals to help the Rockets (4-4, 3-1) pull out a win over the Caseys (4-4, 1-2). Nick Bavaro and Anthony Sparacino dished out the assists for Raritan.

 

Class A South

No. 3 Jackson Memorial 3, Toms River East 1

Ben Schnaak scored off a pass from Chase Olejarz to open the scoring and Joe Schlageter and Dan Russo each added a goal to help the Jaguars (9-0, 5-0) beat the Raiders (4-4, 1-3) to remain perfect on the season. Schlageter scored on a direct kick and Russo converted a penalty kick to cap the Jackson Memorial scoring.

Aidan Meola scored off a feed from Alex Held in the second half for Toms River East's lone goal.

 

Class B Central

Point Beach 5, Henry Hudson 0

Seniors Ryan Brodeur and Ki Costa each scored two goals and Costa also assisted two to lead the Garnet Gulls (6-2-1, 5-0-0) to a win over the Admirals (3-5, 1-2). Costa assisted Brodeur's second goal 55th minute and also set up up a goal by senior Alex Atno in the 16th.

Atno's goal came a minute after Broduer opened the scoring in the 15th minute and Costa added his first goal four minutes before halftime.

 

Non-Division

Lacey 3, Brick Memorial 1

Junior Sean Moffitt scored two goals and senior Kip Byrne assisted on two as the Lions (8-1) topped the Mustangs (2-6-1) for their eighth straight win. Senior Dom Palino scored the other Lacey goal and junior Mike Cyphers also chipped in an assist.

Austin Krywinski scored the Brick Memorial goal.

Point Boro 1, Asbury Park 0

Alex Drucquer scored the lone goal of the game in the third minute on a pass from Luke Severio and the Panthers (4-8) shut out the Blue Bishops (2-6), the fourth straight clean sheet for goalkeeper Steven Redler.

St. Rose 1, Manchester 1

Kyle Corrigan scored the equalizer for St. Rose in the second half and the Purple Roses (3-5-2) salvaged a draw against the Hawks (2-7-1) after falling behind in the first half on a goal by Blake Weiner on a Xavier Millan.

Brick 6, Ranney 1

Alejandro Rodriguez and Mark Kekeumbo each scored two goals to lead the Green Dragons (5-6-1) to a convincing win over the Panthers (4-5). Carlos Cuate and Eli Chung each scored a goal as well for Brick.

Ademola Odunlami scored his 11th goal of the season for Ranney, which came off a Greyson Kellner assist.

Neptune 2, Monmouth 0

Batur Yaman and Steven Camancho each scored a goal and the Scarlet Fliers (6-3-1) bounced back from a two-game skid by blanking the Falcons (6-3-1). Seniors Wilby Alfred and Mickenna Church each picked up an assist and senior goalkeeper Seamus McAnee earned the shutout in goal.

Freehold Boro 2, Colts Neck 1

Junior Isaac Ball scored his fifth game-winning goal of the season with the second-half tie-breaker and the Colonials (6-4) edged the Cougars (2-5). Ball scored in the 69th minute off a pass from Abel Herrera to break a 1-1 tie

Herrera scored the first Freehold Boro goal in the 25th to tie the game at 1-1 after Paul Tepedino gave Colts Neck a 1-0 lead with his goal in the fourth minute off a pass from John Farfan.

No. 7 Howell 2, No. 9 Southern 0

Senior Dylan Dougher unleashed two strikes from long distance during the second half and the Rebels (7-2) beat the sliding Rams (4-4-1), who have not won since a 4-0 start. Dougher buried a 24-yard free kick in the 50th minute and put the game away with a blast off the crossbar and in during the 75th.

Lakewood 4, Central 3

After falling behind 3-0, the Piners (8-1-1) scored four goals in the final seven minutes to shock the Golden Eagles (1-9-1) and bounce back from their first loss of the season.

Junior Augustin Lopez started the comeback with a goal in the 73rd minute and senior Gio Hernandez made it 3-2 with a goal in the 76th. Senior Jorge Araiza tied the game just a minute later in the 77th and in the 78th minute, junior Nathaniel Zuniga scored the game-winner to complete the improbable comeback.

Senior Olu Oginynka and freshman Will Smith each scored in the first half to stake Central to a two-goal halftime lead and senior A.J. Adobe tacked on what appeared to be a dagger of a goal in the 50th before Lakewood came alive in the 73rd.

The Piners were playing without senior captain and center midfielder Junior Bravo, who served the first of a two-game suspension for a red card in Thursday's loss to Lacey.

Toms River North 3, Donovan Catholic 0

Kyle Kerr scored the first goal of the game and assisted another first-half goal by Ali Baish to lead the Mariners (6-1-3) to a win over the Griffins (2-5-1) in a battle of Toms River schools. Matt Kapinsky capped the scoring in the 75th off a feed from Jake Baurerband and Logan Mack also added an assist on the opener by Kerr.

Toms River South 5, Jackson Liberty 0

Senior Danny Caruso dialed up a hat trick and the Indians (2-4-1) rolled to a win over the Lions (2-7). Joe Amabile also added a goal and an assist and Tim Yuro pitched in the other Toms River South goal.
