Junior Drew Walenty scored the golden goal in overtime and the Jaguars (3-0) edged the Braves (0-2) for their third straight win to open the season.

Matawan 5, Ranney 2

Senior Chris Dietrich scored two goals and the Huskies outlasted the Panthers in the rain. Senior Marcelo Colonna and senior Marco Medel each added a goal in the win.

Monmouth 8, Mater Dei Prep 0

Senior Mason Martelloni scored two goals for the third straight game - both of which came in the first two minutes - and the Falcons (3-0) rolled to a win over the Seraphs (0-1) while playing their first game on Monmouth Regional's new turf field.

Sophomores Kaan Pehlivan and Ryan Kuldanik each added a two goals, with Pehlivan also dishing out two assists. Senior Mathis Quesada chipped in a goal and an assist and Prahbnoor Singh added the other Monmouth goal.
