Class A South

No. 6 Jackson Memorial 2, Toms River East 1

Garrett Muzikowski scored his eighth goal of the season in the 34th minute, which turned out to be the game-winner as the Jaguars beat the Raiders.

Jordan Hodges opened the scoring for Jackson Memorial in the 19th minute and Jon Meola cut the deficit in half with a breakaway goal in the 60th for Toms River East.

No. 5 Toms River North 1, Lacey 1

Anthony Palino scored with 1:12 left in regulation and the Lions battled back to tie the first-place Mariners in Class A South. Mateen Nemati gave Toms River North the lead with a goal in the 68th minute.

Class B Central

Asbury Park 2, Ranney 0

Jose Cesaire scored his eighth goal in five games and the Blue Bishops won their fourth straight by beating the Panthers. Fenelson Etienne opened the scoring to give Asbury Park a 1-0 lead going into the half. Roubens Noel Jeune and Carl Cazeau split the shutout in net.

Point Beach 2, Henry Hudson 0

Charlie Turro scored two more goals to up his season-total to nine and the Garnet Gulls got past the Admirals.

Shore 1, St. Rose 0

J.T. Kessler broke a scoreless deadlock in the 63rd minute with a goal off a Alden Aikins pass and the Blue Devils edged the Purple Roses to get back on track in Class B Central.

 

Class B South

Barnegat at Lakewood, 3:45 p.m.

Central 1, Monsignor Donovan 0

Doug Jensen scored off a set-up by Blake Czajkowski in the 48th minute and goalkeeper Bryan Jones and the Central defense made it stand up in the Golden Eagles' big Class B South win over the Griffins.

Non-Division

Wall 1, Manasquan 1

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 2, Red Bank 0

Matt Dell and Harry Gassert scored goals three minutes apart in the latter part of the first half and the Bulldogs beat the Bucs to win the Ridge Road Rivalry game. Dell scored in the 30th minute and Gassert struck in the 33rd.

Monmouth 3, Mater Dei Prep 0

Playing in his first game of the season, Ross Spadavecchia scored two goals to help the Falcons beat the Seraphs for their first win of the season.
