Class A North

No. 4 Long Branch 7, Manalapan 1

Junior Lucas Da Costa scored two goals and the Green Wave (8-2, 8-2) coasted past the Braves (0-7, 0-7) with six goals in the second half.

Senior Jason Laviola scored on a free kick and Augusto Bontempo, Tyler Haldane, Daniel Rodrigues and Eduardo Ribiero each added a goal for Long Branch.

No. 3 Freehold Twp. 3, Middletown South 0

Senior Adam Havens scored two goals off passes from senior Zach Orrico and the Patriots (7-3, 7-3) blanked the Eagles (3-7, 3-7). Junior Herman Colbert followed Havens's goal in the 15th with a goal in the 21st off a pass from senior Josh Leonetti.

 

Class A Central

No. 7 Holmdel 2, No. 9 Raritan 0

Senior Matt Kline scored off a throw-in from classmate Dan Vesely in the ninth minute and senior Tomas Zolofra added a penalty kick in the 63rd as the Hornets (9-0-1, 8-0-1) handed the Rockets (7-1-1, 7-1-1) their first loss of the season while extending their unbeaten streak to 64.

Sophomore Ilan Golden made his first start in goal playing for injured starter Tommy Chyzowych (knee) and backup Andrew Arrendondo (eye) and earned a shutout with three saves.

Rumson-Fair Haven 6, Ocean 0

Senior Sam Coughlin scored in the 27th minute and junior Luke Pentikis scored two second-half goals to blow open a one-sided win for the Bulldogs (5-4-1, 5-2-1) over the Spartans (5-3-2, 4-3-2).

Rumson scored a deflating second goal on an own goal in the 31st minute and senior Terence Wrench scored off a feed from sophomore Antonio Santos in the 46th minute to start the second-half scoring spree.

Pentikis scored goals in the 51st and 55th minutes before sophomore Alec Pentikis capped the scoring in the 68th off a pass from senior Dylan Haley - who also assisted Coughlin's goal in the first half.

Monmouth 2, Red Bank Catholic 0

Junior Kaan Pehlivan broke a scoreless tie in the second half off a feed from senior Bryan Leonard and junior Ryan Kuldanek added an insurance score off a pass from Aiden Hicks to spark the Falcons (4-7-1, 3-7-1) to a win over the Caseys (0-10, 0-8).

 

Class A South

Toms River East 3, Toms River South 1

Senior Alex Heid assisted a 23rd-minute goal by classmate T.J. Scollan and scored one for himself in the 49th minute to lead the Raiders (3-7, 3-7) to a win over the Indians (4-6, 4-6). Junior Noah Raimonde added an insurance goal in the 56th minute for Toms River East.

 

Class B North

No. 5 Colts Neck 7, Manasquan 0

Junior David Tuschmann scored a hat trick and assisted all three goals by senior Derek Haaf as the Cougars (11-0, 11-0) continued their dominance by hammering the Warriors (5-5-1, 5-5-1).

Haaf also assisted a goal by junior Tom Samaras and senior Jake Gershon contributed a pair of assists.

Colts Neck has scored 57 goals against just four allowed for the season and has posted at least five goals in six of the past seven matches, with Tuschmann catching Southern's Kevin Kiernan for the Shore Conference lead in goals scored (17).

Neptune 3, Freehold Boro 2 (OT)

Senior Marvin Muñoz Garcia scored the golden goal to go with an assist from earlier in the game and the Scarlet Fliers (4-7, 4-7) edged the Colonials (1-9, 1-9) in overtime. Lee Petrowski and Ernst Louisus scored the other two Neptune goals.

Mike Romero-Vargas and Jack Crivelli accounted for the two Freehold Boro goals.

No. 6 Wall 3, Matawan 0

Juniors Terence Byrnes and Matt Murphy each scored off a pass from senior Jake Pepe in the first 10 minutes of the first half and the Crimson Knights (11-0, 11-0) came alive after halftime to beat the Huskies (5-6, 5-6) for their 11th straight win. Senior Philip Lyons scored off a pass from classmate Nico DellaPietro for the third Wall goal.

 

Class B South

Point Boro 2, Pinelands 1

Senior Danny Gallagher scored two goals in the second half and the Panthers (2-4-1, 2-4-1) held on to hand the Wildcats (7-1-1, 7-1-1) their first loss of the season. Gallagher broke the scoreless tie in the 48th minute off a pass from junior Jeff Thompson and scored again in the 55th.

Junior James Cahill scored in the 61st minute to pull Pinelands within a goal.
