Ranney 82, Henry Hudson 42
Sophomore Ahmadu Sarnor scored 24 points and the Panthers (16-3, 12-1) coasted past the Admirals (1-20, 1-12). Sophomore Bryan Antoine added 19 points and sophomores Alex Klatsky and Kyle Smith chipped in 11 each for Ranney.
Sophomore Jay Anthony led Henry Hudson with 17 points and senior Armijit Singh added 12 in the loss.
Mater Dei Prep 79, St. Rose 53
Senior Elijah Barnes scored 24 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Seraphs (18-3, 12-1) past the Purple Roses (14-7, 8-5). Junior Yasin Pretlow added 12 points and junior Brandon Wilson and senior Elijah Mitchell each scored nine for Mater Dei. Mitchell also handed out five assists and junior Kenny Jones dished out 10.
Senior Billy Frost led St. Rose with 15 points and junior Jared Scheininger added 11 in the loss.
Non-Conference
South River 74, Keansburg 71
Junior Paul Eckleberry scored 31 points but the Titans (7-12) lost to the Rams (8-12) by a narrow margin. Senior Nick Rizzi added 16 points and Danny Vital poured in 13 for Keansburg.
