Asbury Park 65, Henry Hudson 45

Junior Lydell Brown led a balanced attack with 12 points and the Blue Bishops (4-0) handled the Admirals (0-2) to win their fourth straight to open the season.

Sophomore Sha'Born Goodman added 11 points, senior Kervin Herring scored 10 and sophomore Jai'Sun Brown chipped in eight for Asbury Park. Goodman also picked five steals and Brown grabbed six rebounds.

Senior Trevor Hendrickson led Henry Hudson with 11 points and junior Demitrius Harvey added 10 in the loss.

No. 4 CBA 52, Freehold Boro 34 - Watch Live

Senior Colin Farrell scored a game-high 21 points and the Colts (2-1) cruised to a win over the Colonials (2-2) to complete the sweep for the week an give coach Geoff Billet his 250th career win. Senior Dane Moran added 13 points for CBA.

Senior Jiasion Carpenter led Freehold Boro with 21 points, 10 rebounds and three steals.

Raritan 65, Matawan 52 - Watch Live

Junior Justin Rivera led four Raritan players in double-figure scoring with 20 points and the Rockets (2-1) topped the Huskies (1-2).

Sophomore Matt Agar added 14 points and sophomores Jack Coleman and Lucas LaVilla each added 11 for Raritan.

Senior Andre Wells led Matawan with 17 points while senior Ian Richardson chipped in 14 in the loss.

St. John Vianney 40, Colts Neck 36 - Watch Live

Freshman Dylan Seay scored 17 points and pulled in 11 rebounds to pace the Lancers (2-1) to a bounceback win over the Cougars (1-3), earning the series split.

Junior Nate Williams added six points, seven rebounds and four steals for St. John Vianney.

Junior D.J. Thomson scored 18 points and the Red Raiders (3-1) pulled away for a win over the Garnet Gulls (0-2).

Junior Andrew Laumbach led Point Beach with 18 points and senior Joe Coakley chipped in 16 in the loss.

No. 8 Neptune 43, No. 6 Wall 42 - Watch Live ($)

Senior Sam Fagan scored 16 points and the Scarlet Fliers (2-2) beat the Crimson Knights (0-2) to complete a two-game sweep of their rivals for the week.

Senior Bryson Byrd added nine points off the bench for Neptune and junior Malik Fields chipped in eight in the win.

Senior Logan Peters scored a game-high 19 points for Wall, but Neptune held senior Pat Lacey (nine points) and junior Colin Ackerman (five) to 14 combined points after the duo combined for 44 on Wednesday night. Senior Tom Palluzzi also scored nine points for Wall.

Non-Conference

St. Peter’s Prep 63, No. 3 Marlboro 49 - Watch Live

Junior Jack Seidler scored 20 points and Marlboro took a one-point lead into the fourth quarter against the No. 5 team in the state, but the Marauders (4-0) buried the Mustangs (0-1) with a 22-7 run over the final eight minutes to seal the win.

Junior Jon Spatola added 14 points for Marlboro, which led 42-41 heading into the final quarter before St. Peter's Prep scored seven straight to open the fourth. Spatola then answered with a three-point play and junior Zack Molod drove to cut the lead to one, 48-47. St. Peter's then finished the game on a 15-2 run, with Molod sidelined by cramps and starting center Nick Malucelli fouling out.

Heavily-recruited junior guard Mark Armstrong led St. Peter's with a game-high 21 points while his team played without Fairleigh Dickinson recruit Rayshawn Ford.
