Senior Mike Gesicki scored 22 points and junior Jake Logue added 21 to help the Rams beat the Bengals.

Freehold Twp. 63, No. 8 Neptune 62

Junior Dan Saunders led four Freehold Township players in double-figures with 12 points and the Patriots edged the Scarlet Fliers.

Neptune was coming off a narrow defeat against Christian Brothers Academy in the Shore Conference Tournament quarterfinals on Sunday. Freehold Township lost to Holmdel at home in the first round of the SCT and would have played at Neptune in the next round had it pulled out the win over the Hornets.

Seniors Chris Talbott and Jordan McGill scored 11 points each and junior Tyree Wilson chipped in 10 for Freehold Township.

Junior Kerry Kirkwood led Neptune with 14 points while Myles Mooney added 12 and Lamar Ford had 10 for the Scarlet Fliers who were without leading scorer, senior Shakeem Richardson.

No. 7 Jackson Memorial 67, Shore 60

Senior Eric Carter recorded his first career triple-double, scoring 24 points to go with 11 rebounds and 10 assists, and the Jaguars topped the Blue Devils. Junior Kevin Bloodgood led Shore with 22 points.

Brick Memorial 62, Wall 52

Senior Aaron Scheiderman scored 15 points and junior R.J. Hernandez added 10 points and 10 rebounds as the Mustangs topped the Crimson Knights. Juniors Brendan Barcas (18 points) and Ryan Janeczek (17) combined for 35 of Wall's 52 points.

Point Boro 58, No. 6 Long Branch 37

Sophomore Peyton Wejnert scored 23 points and grabbed 11 rebounds to lead the Panthers to a win over the Green Wave, which was without leading scorer Terrel Cox (illness). Wejnert went 15-for-17 at the free-throw line, while Point Boro senior Brian Byington added 17 points and 17 rebounds in the win.

Mater Dei Prep 54, Howell 51

Senior Sam Miles scored 19 points and the Seraphs rallied from a 15-point deficit to beat the Rebels. Junior Will Koscis also scored 19 points to lead Howell.

Middletown North 60, Monsignor Donovan 51

Colts Neck 45, St. Joseph by the Sea (N.Y.) 43

Junior Chris O'Reilly hit a long two-point attempt from the top of the key as time expired and the Cougars beat St. Jospeh by the Sea. O'Reilly finished with 21 points, while sophomore Lloyd Daniels added 11 for Colts Neck.
