Class A North
Marlboro 63, Freehold Boro 40
Senior Spencer Alamia scored 10 points and added five steals on Senior Night and the Mustangs (9-8, 6-6) rolled past the Colonials (2-15, 0-11).
Sophomore Alex Ratner led Marlboro with 12 points and seniors Emmanuel Coffy and Justin Marcus added eight points each.
No. 5 CBA 54, No. 6 Colts Neck 34
Junior Josh Cohen scored 16 points, grabbed 14 rebounds and blocked three shots to help the Colts (13-3, 11-0) coast by the Cougars (13-3, 8-3) for their 10th straight win.
Junior Stephen Braunstein led CBA with 17 points and pulled in seven rebounds, while senior Rob Mahala pitched in eight points, seven rebounds, six assists and three steals for CBA.
Senior Dan Gaines led Colts Neck with a game-high 17 points.
Freehold Twp. 54, Howell 48
Junior Greg Billups scored 16 of his game-high 18 points in the second half and the Patriots (7-10, 4-8) topped the Rebels (9-7, 4-7).
Junior Seth Meisner added 11 points and freshman Zach Orrico chipped in eight points, seven rebounds and three assists for Freehold Township.
Senior Brandon Wilson led Howell with 18 points, including 14 in the first half.
No. 5 Neptune 55, Manalapan 29
Senior Scott Fields scored 14 points and classmate Jared Kimbrough posted 13 points and 14 rebounds to lead the Scarlet Fliers (14-4, 11-1) to a win over the Braves (5-13, 2-10).
Junior Dwaine Jones added 10 points, five rebounds and four assists for Neptune, which won for the eighth time in nine games.
Sophomore Ryan Szatkowski led Manalapan with 10 points.
Class A Central
No. 10 Matawan 48, St. John Vianney 47
Senior Reggie Tawiah and sophomore Ethan Okello scored 11 points a piece and the Huskies (15-3, 8-2) held off the Lancers (10-11, 6-5) by a point for the second time this season. Sophomore Darrell Rogers added nine points for Matawan.
Senior Zach Moran led St. John Vianney with 20 points and senior Eli Malera chipped in 10 in defeat.
Red Bank 53, Shore 38
Junior Brian Forsman pumped in a career-high 17 points and the Bucs (2-15, 1-8) won a rubber match against the Blue Devils (6-12, 3-7) for their second win of the year. Red Bank also beat Shore in the Buc Holiday Classic consolation bracket.
Junior Liam Joyce poured in 14 points for Red Bank and junior Dean Hottmann added 12 points and eight blocks in the win.
No. 3 Rumson-Fair Haven 63, Holmdel 50
The Bulldogs (15-1, 9-0) kicked off Senior Night with 4-foot-2 senior manager Jack Velcamp scoring his first career basket in his first career appearance and went on to beat the Hornets (8-7, 4-6) on an emotional night at Rumson-Fair Haven.
Velcamp has been the team manager for eight years and Thursday was the first time he got to suit up and step onto the floor for a varsity game. After missing his first handful of shots, Velcamp drove for a layup, prompting the Rumson bench to clear out onto the court to mob him in celebration.
Once play resumed, junior Jackson McCarthy scored 23 points to lead Rumson and classmate Ian O'Connor poured in 18 in the win.
Senior Tim Zhou led Holmdel with 17 points.
Class A South
No. 8 Toms River North 66, Jackson Memorial 51
Senior Travis Holland scored a career-high 27 points and the Mariners (16-3, 11-0) topped the Jaguars (3-15, 2-9) to extend their A South winning streak to 43 games.
Senior Mark Mogarte added 12 points and sophomore Jakari Spence poured in 10 for Toms River North.
Senior Alex Cabrera led Jackson Memorial with 17 points.
Class B North
Long Branch 68, Monmouth 51
No. 7 Manasquan 49, Wall 48
Junior Xander Korolik scored on a layup as time expired and the Warriors (14-2, 10-1) pulled out a thrilling win over the rival Crimson Knights (7-11, 3-9).
Korolik led Manasquan with 13 points while senior Ryan Flanagan chipped in 12 in the win.
Senior Steve Geis led Wall with a game-high 20 points and sophomore Quinn Calabrese added 11 in the loss.
Ocean 61, No. 9 Red Bank Catholic 53 (OT)
Senior Andrew Seager scored a game-high 27 points and the Spartans (11-8, 7-5) battled past the Caseys (13-6, 8-4) on the road in overtime to secure a sweep of the head-to-head season series.
Sophomore Jack Miller added 12 points for Ocean, while sophomore Charlie Gordinier led Red Bank Catholic with 19 points.
Class B Central
Point Beach 71, Keyport 34
Senior Mohamed Traore scored 22 points and senior Trevor Covey added 17 as the Garnet Gulls (12-6, 8-3) cruised to a win over the Red Raiders (2-14, 1-11).
Senior Noah Geraghty led Keyport with 10 points.
Non-Division
Brick 54, Keansburg 30
Senior Dan Meyers posted a triple-double on senior night, tallying 15 points, 11 rebounds and 10 blocks to lead the Green Dragons (11-4) to a win over the Titans (5-12).
Senior Dan Venezia also added 15 points and 10 rebounds for Brick.
Raritan 56, Lacey 48
Senior Zach Mojica and junior Chris Marten each scored 13 points and the Rockets (9-9) outlasted the Lions (5-11) for a key road win.
Junior Carl Swensen led Lacey with a game-high 24 points.
