Monmouth 62, Red Bank 58 - Watch

Junior Aiden Denton scored 19 points and senior Kiran Desai scored 16 of his 18 points in the second half as the Falcons (2-1) upended the Bucs (0-3).

Senior A.J. Po also threw in 12 points for Monmouth.

Southern 61, Lacey 50 - Watch

Junior Jaden Anthony and senior Luke Infurna each scored 15 points and the Rams (4-1) topped the Lions (0-3) for their fourth straight win since losing to Toms River North on opening night.

Anthony also grabbed eight rebounds and dished out four assists and seniors Jay Silva and Jake Barbierri each chipped in 10 points for Southern. Silva also snagged five rebounds while Barbierri handed out five assists.

Sophomores Chris Veturoso and Troy Buxton each scored 15 points to lead Lacey and sophomore Carson Howard contributed eight points, seven rebounds and four assists in the loss.

No. 4 CBA 75, No. 3 Marlboro 42 - Watch

Senior Dane Moran scored 15 points and grabbed seven rebounds to lead a balanced scoring attack and all five CBA starters scored at least eight points as the Colts (5-2) routed the Mustangs (2-3).

Senior Mike White posted 14 points, 10 rebounds and five assists and classmate Colin Farrell added 12 points, five rebounds and six assists after missing the last two games with a knee injury. Junior Pat Lautato chipped in nine points, three assists and four steals and sophomore Joe White contributed eight points and six rebounds in the win.

The two White brothers led the defensive effort that kept Marlboro's two junior stars - Jack Seidler and Jon Spatola - in check. Seidler scored seven points and went scoreless in the second half and Spatola finished with six. Junior Jay Ratner led Marlboro with 10 points and six rebounds.

Jackson Liberty 49, Toms River East 32 - Watch

Senior Dubem Emenuga scored a game-high 16 points and the Lions (2-4) bounced back from a heartbreaking loss to Colts Neck on Friday night to shut down the Raiders (1-5).

Junior Phanique Dupree added 14 points for Jackson Liberty, which held Toms River East to nine first-half points, with the Raiders scoring just one in the second quarter. Seniors Xavier Kless and Charlie Monica led Toms River East with eight points.

Freehold Twp. 57, Howell 46 - Watch

Senior Joe Lardaro scored 10 of his 18 points in the fourth quarter to help the Patriots (3-2) close out a win over the Rebels (5-2).

Sophomore Jayden Holmes-Cotter added 10 points and senior Zach Orrico scored all seven of his in the first half for Freehold Township, which saw a 13-point halftime lead shrink to two, 39-37, by the start of the fourth quarter.

Junior Dylan McVeigh scored 13 of his 15 points in the third quarter, during which Howell outscored Freehold Township, 24-13. Junior Nick Gallo added nine points on three three-pointers and junior Joe Dupuis scored six of his eight points during the third-quarter run for Howell.

Ocean 42, Long Branch 34 - Watch

Senior Matt Shaw scored 11 points and senior Rusty Todd worked the glass for 10 rebounds as the Spartans (3-4) outlasted the Green Wave (0-5).

Junior Christian Rodriguez led Long Branch with a game-high 12 points.

No. 9 Wall 54, Point Boro 39 - Watch ($)

Senior Logan Peters scored 24 points and pulled in 10 rebounds as the Crimson Knights (2-5) cruised to a win over the Panthers (1-3).

Senior Pat Lacey chipped in 17 points and senior Colin Ackerman handed out six assists to go with his four points.

No. 8 Rumson-Fair Haven 63, Middletown South 58 - Watch

Junior Scott Gyimesi scored 29 points and junior Trent Sloan poured in 19 behind five three-pointers as the Bulldogs (3-0) held off the Eagles (1-5) for their second win in as many days.

Senior Luke Albrecht and junior Tommy Schork each scored 16 points to lead Middletown South while senior Joe Stanzione added 10 in the loss.

Toms River North 46, Brick Memorial 42 - Watch

Senior Brandon Bowens scored the go-ahead putback with 27 seconds left and the Mariners (5-2) held on to top the Mustangs (4-3) on the road. Bowens finished with a game-high 16 points and 12 rebounds and senior Wesley Deitch added 10 - all in the second half for Toms River North.

Senior Jake Kazanowsky also pitched in eight points, 11 rebounds and six assists for the Mariners, who trailed, 23-16, heading into halftime.

Sophomore Josh Michigan also scored 16 points to lead Brick Memorial and senior Jake Dombrowski added 13 in the loss. Sophomore Brian Starrett chipped in nine and hit a game-tying floater with 45 seconds left before Bowens came back with his go-ahead finish.

Manville 54, Henry Hudson 37 - Watch

Senior Trevor Hendrickson scored 14 points but the Admirals (1-3) could not keep up with the Mustangs (3-1).

Don Bosco Prep 72, No. 10 Mater Dei Prep 51 - Watch

Don Bosco's underclass trio combined for 46 points and the Ironmen (4-2) rolled to a win over the Seraphs (4-3).

Sophomore Akil Watson scored a game-high 22 points and 6-foot-8 freshman brother Tarik Watson poured in 15 to lead Don Bosco. Freshman Dylan Harper - the son of former NBA player Ron Harper and younger brother of Rutgers guard Ron Harper Jr. - added nine points.

Senior David Shkolniy led Mater Dei with 18 points and senior Andreas Von Fricke and junior Alex Brown each chipped in eight for the Seraphs.
