Middletown South 52, Middletown North 48

Senior Matt Gray scored 23 points and the Eagles (4-16, 2-11) knocked off the crosstown rival Lions (11-8, 8-6) to earn a season-split in the Middletown series. Senior Tristan Hook led Middletown North with 14 points.

 

Class A Central

Manasquan 64, Raritan 32

Sophomore Ryan Jensen led a balanced effort with 12 points and eight rebounds and CBA transfer Luke O'Shaunessy added 10 points and five rebounds in his Manasquan debut as the Warriors (15-2, 12-1) handled the Rockets (4-17, 2-11). Senior Tommy Toole contributed nine points, five rebounds, five assists and five steals for Manasquan.

Shore 68, Holmdel 55

Senior Dan Pillari poured in 26 points and the Blue Devils (16-6, 10-4) beat the Hornets (11-11, 8-6) for the second time this season to wrap up their Class A Central season. Junior Jack Byrne chipped in 16 points and junior Kevin Bloodgood added 14 for Shore.

Senior Gerard Nocera (18 points), junior Jeff Harris (17) and junior Ray LaForte (15) combined for 50 of Holmdel's 55 points.

Monmouth at Rumson-Fair Haven - PPD, Monday, 6:30 p.m.

Red Bank Catholic at St. John Vianney - PPD, Saturday, 2:30 p.m.

 

Class A South

Brick Memorial 68, Toms River East 58

Junior Aaron Scheiderman scored 24 points and the Mustangs (12-7, 9-5) beat the Raiders (7-12, 2-11) to cap their Class A South schedule. Junior Scott White chipped in 13 points for Brick Memorial while junior Joe Hans added 10 in the win.

Senior C.J. Hischy led Toms River East with 23 points, including five 3-pointers. Freshman Phil Lingat added 13 points in the loss.

Toms River North 67, Toms River South 57

Junior Jordan Craig scored nine of his team-high 18 points during a dominant third quarter by the Mariners (12-10, 8-6), propelling them to a win over the Indians (13-7, 8-6). Toms River North hit five of its seven threes in the third, during which the Mariners outscored the Indians 28-9.

Sophomore Pat Marinaccio added 16 points while junior Ted Thelemaque poured in 15 points in the win. Senior Marquis Davis led Toms River South with a game-high 21 points.

 

Class B North

Long Branch 60, Wall 36

Senior Terrel Cox poured in 18 points to go with five steals and the Green Wave (12-6, 8-4) capped its Class B North season by rolling through the Crimson Knights (6-15, 1-11). Senior Hassan Foster added 16 points and eight rebounds for Long Branch, while junior Brendan Barcas led Wall with 11 points.

Red Bank 68, Ocean 43

Junior Eddie Hendrex posted 18 points and nine rebounds and the Bucs (14-6, 7-5) cruised to a win over the Spartans (7-12, 3-9). Junior Anthony Mitchell poured in 11 points for Red Bank, while sophomore Jack Navitsky handed out eight assists in the win.

Sophomore Ruquan Dean led Ocean with 12 points and senior Chris Seager added 11 in the loss.

 

Class B Central

St. Rose 65, Keansburg 28

Senior Bobby Hendrickson scored 14 points to lead a balanced scoring effort and the Purple Roses (15-5, 12-2) beat the Titans (4-14, 4-10) to wrap up their Class B Central schedule. Senior Dan Borner added 12 points and senior Matt Skea poured in 10 for St. Rose.

Senior Kason Preston led Keansburg with a game-high 15 points.

Point Beach 67, Mater Dei Prep 45

 

Class B South

Lakewood 58, Point Boro 41

Senior Dan Niblack led a balanced Lakewood offense with 13 points and the Piners (19-3, 14-0) wrapped up an unbeaten season in Class B South by beating the Panthers (12-6, 10-4). Senior Ben Watson added 12 points and seven rebounds, while sophomores Naquese Joshua and Amir Tyler each pitched in nine. Niblack also had eight rebounds and three steals, while Joshua handed out seven assists.

Senior Will Boccanfuso led Point Boro with 17 points and 10 rebounds, while sophomore Peyton Wejnert chipped in 13 points.

Manchester 70, Pinelands 49

Sophomore Shavar Reynolds scored 22 points to go with eight rebounds and eight assists and the Hawks (14-6, 8-5) rolled to a win over the Wildcats (5-14, 2-11). David Lunn led Pinelands with 17 points.
