All-Shore Madness: Vote for the Last 2 Boys Basketball All-Shore Spots
Welcome to the second (and the final?) annual All-Shore Madness tournament. To determine the final two 2021 All-Shore spots, we will be holding a five-round, knockout-style voting competition - similar to the 2020 version.
This year's version has a few wrinkles. There are three groups of players receiving byes - a group of 18 that will get one bye, eight more with a double-bye and four select players with a bye into the "elite eight." Here is how each round will go:
First Round: Vote for the top two out of 22 nominees to advance to the round of 32. Vote in the poll at the end of the post once per hour until the poll closes at noon on Saturday.
Round of 32: The two first-round winners will join the 18 players with first-round byes for the second round of voting. Vote for the top four to advance to the sweet 16, with voting starting approximately one hour after the end of the first round and remaining open for the next 24 hours.
Sweet 16: The four round-of-32 winners will join the eight teams with double-byes. Vote for the top four to advance to the elite eight, with the same time parameters that apply to the prior rounds also applying this time.
Elite 8: The four players to emerge from the sweet 16 will join the four top seeds for the second-to-last round of voting. In this round, you can vote for only two players, but the top four will advance to the final day of voting.
Final 4: The top four from the elite eight will get 24 hours to rack up as many votes as possible and the top two will be named the final two members of the 2021 All-Shore team.
Here are the contestants by seeding groups. Vote in the first round at the bottom of the post.
