No. 13 Howell 4, Middletown South 3

No. 6 Colts Neck 1, No. 3 Middletown North 0 (8 Innings)

Senior Jillian Peraccio drove in Julianna Kowaleski in the bottom of the 8th inning to give Colts Neck the division victory over Middletown North. In a pitching dual, sophomore Angela Sasso struck out 17 batters for Colts Neck and Madilynn Boyce struck out 15 hitters for Middletown North.

No. 13 Freehold Township 5, No. 5 Marlboro 4

Freehold Township scored three runs in the bottom of the 7th inning to come back from trailing 4-2 to win their second game of the season. Senior Ally Proske struck out four batters to earn the victory for the Patriots. Senior Sienna Smith went 4 for 4 with two runs scored and Alexa Barbera knocked in two runs on a triple for Freehold Township. Senior Stephanie Ciravolo went 3 for 4 with two RBIs for Marlboro.

Class A Central

No. 15 Raritan 22, No. 16 Monmouth Regional 2

Raritan scored 14 runs in the top of 2nd and 7 runs in the top of 3rd to win their first game of the season. Senior Isabella Plath went 4 for 5 with 3 RBIs and freshman Janelle Clausi went 4 for 4with 3 runs scored for Raritan. Senior Alexa Basile struck out 9 batters in the victory.

No. 11 Wall 12, Rumson-Fair Haven 0

Senior Brielle Coppola struck out 12 batters and pitched a no-hitter to give Wall their first win of the season. Freshman Addison Lawrence went 3 for 4 with two runs scored and two RBIs for Wall. Junior Molly Stopera went 2 for 2 and scored three runs for the Knights.

Holmdel 15, Shore 5

Junior Avery Lewandowski went 5 for 5 with 5 runs scored and sophomore Emma Vanario went 4 for 5 with 4 RBIs for Holmdel.

No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 16, Trinity Hall 1

 

Class B North

Ranney at Neptune; 3:45 P.M.

Matawan 4,  Freehold Boro 2

Matawan scored four runs in the top of the 6th inning to win their second game of the season. Sophomore Emma Kriegstein struck out six batters and gave up zero earned runs for Matawan. Freshman Elyssa Jamandron went 1 for 3 with a homerun and RBI for Matawan.

No. 8 Manasquan 5, Ocean 2

Senior Amanda Dingler went 1 for 3 with a double and 2 RBIs to lead Manasquan to their second win of the season. Senior Elena Weinseimer went 2 for 3 with a homerun and two runs scored for the Warriors.

No. 1 St. John Vianney 20,  Red Bank Regional 0

Sophomore Madison McDougall struck out 11 batters on her way to back-to-back shutouts for SJV. McDougall also went 4 for 4 with 3 RBIs and freshman Mia Favato went 4 for 4 with 5 RBIs for SJV.
