Class A North

No. 2 Manalapan 4, No. 6 Middletown South 3 (OT)

Senior Sydney Spilsbury scored the golden goal three minutes into overtime to help Braves remain undefeated on the season. Senior Vanessa Sarf scored two goals, giving her six on the season, and sophomore Zina Hammarstrom scored her first goal of the season for the Braves. Middletown South had three different goal scorers in the game with sophomore Bea Tinoco scoring her third of the season. 

No. 14 Marlboro 3, Middletown North 2

Senior Jessica Reilly scored her first goal of the season and junior Brooke Gordon had two goals for the Mustangs, who remain undefeated in Class A North. Junior Jayme Malanda scored two goals for Middletown North, giving her five in her team's first two games. 

No. 9 Howell 1, No. 10 St. John Vianney 0 (OT)

The Rebels picked up their first win of the season against the fourth straight top 10 team they faced to start the season. Freshman Makenzie Memmolo scored a golden goal off an assist from senior Leila Oshiro to cap the win. Memmolo has scored all four goals on the season for the Rebels. Senior Madison Smith earned the shutout for Howell.

 

Class A Central

Shore Regional 8, Neptune 2

Sophomore Jenna Eichenbaum scored a hat trick and was one of six players to score for Shore Regional as coach George Moutis won his 200th career game. Senior Ava Agresti scored a goal and had three assists for the Blue Devils and sophomore Kiera Greene scored one goal and had two assists. Senior Kaitlyn Hankins scored both goals for Neptune.

Class A South

No. 4 Brick Memorial 3, Toms River North 0

The Mustangs scored three first-half goals to remain undefeated in Class A South. Seniors Mia and Lexi Caruso both scored and Maggie Allen added a third for Brick Memorial. Junior Giselle Lizardi picked up her second shutout of the season. 

No. 11 Jackson Memorial 2, Brick Township 0

Freshman Madison Fagliarone scored the first goal of her career and game winner for Jackson Memorial. Sophomore Julie Ifantis scored her second of the season and freshman Khushneet Singh picked up her first assist of her career. Junior goalkeeper Gianna Berkley earned her first shutout of the season. 

No. 5 Central Regional 3, Toms River East

Central Regional had three different goal scorers as they remain undefeated on the season. Senior Emma Harmon scored her seventh goal of the season and senior Arianna Chidiac scored a goal and assisted on another for the Golden Eagles. Seniors Amanda Barr and Sydney Murphy both scored in the second half for Toms River East.

Toms River South 4, Southern 0

Senior Emma Woch scored two goals and junior Keira Mulvihill had three assists to keep Toms River South undefeated in Class A South. Toms River South scored three goals in the second half and goalkeeper Meaghan Weatherstone earned her second straight shutout. 

 

Class B North

No. 13 Ocean Township 3, Colts Neck 0

Ocean bounced back from Tuesday’s defeat and earned a shutout victory in Class B North. Ocean scored three goals in the second half and had four different goal scorers in the game. Junior Kaia Abbatiello scored the first goal and assisted on the Spartans' second goal. Senior Grace Boudreau was tested by Colts Neck, but was able to earn her second shutout of the season. 

No. 12 Manasquan 0, Trinity Hall 0 (OT)

Two of the favorites in Class B North went to double-overtime and battled to a scoreless tie. Both goalies saw a lot of action and stood up to the test. Manasquan junior Gia Restivo and Trinity Hall sophomore Emily Venezia both made double digit saves for their teams.

 

Class B Central

Monmouth Regional 6, Long Branch 0

Monmouth Regional had five different goal scorers as they picked up a Class B Central win to remain in first place. Junior Jenna Chlapowski scored her sixth goal of the season and assisted on another goal. Junior Bella Emerson added two more goals and senior Amanda Growney earned her first shutout of the season for the Falcons. 

St. Rose 8, Keyport 1

Seven different goal scorers helped St. Rose win its first game of the season. Junior Molly Cullen scored two goals and assisted on another and senior Maggie Kerr scored one goal and assisted on two other goals for the Roses. 

Ranney at Asbury Park, 4 p.m.

 

Class B South

No. 8 Point Boro 3, Donovan Catholic 0

Point Boro had three different scorers and junior Ava Bjorndahl picked up her second shutout of the season as the Panthers won their second Class B South match. The Cilento sisters, Kyleigh and Kayden, both scored for Point Boro and Gabby Mellet added another goal. 

Jackson Liberty 1, Pinelands 0 (OT)

Sophomore Samantha Guira scored a golden goal off a pass from freshman Ali Zambor to give the Lions their second straight division win. Freshman goalkeeper Audrey Parker picked up her first shutout of her career. 

Manchester 7, Lakewood 0

Manchester had six different goal scorers in their first victory of the season. Sophomore Madison Cubbison scored two goals, giving her three on the season. Sophomore Alexa Wnek scored one goal and assisted on two more for the Hawks.

No. 16 Lacey 7, Barnegat 0

Junior Natalie McGovern scored a hat trick and assisted on two other goals to lead Lacey in a Class B South win. Juniors Reese Paget and Mackenzie Brotherston both scored two goals for the Lions. Brotherston brings her total up to six goals on the season and senior Lorynn Leporino earned her first shutout of the season. 

Non Divisional 

No. 1 Freehold Township 4, No. 7 Wall 1

Senior Hailey Santiago continued her hot streak, scoring two goals to give her seven on the season and help Freehold Township win a non divisional game. TCU commit Ainsley Moy scored one goal and assisted on two others for the Patriots. Senior Aileen Carr scored off a corner kick for the Knights.

 

Wednesday, Sept. 13

Class B North

Freehold Boro 1, Matawan 0

Senior Taylor Atkinson scored midway through the second half on a free kick just outside the 18-yard line to give Freehold Boro its first division win. Junior goalkeeper Kendall Livingston came up with two key saves to earn her first shutout of the season.
