With the regular season complete, the Shore Sports Network selected the eight top performances in the opening round of the girls soccer NJSIAA Tournament and the Shore Conference fans have a chance to vote for their pick as the overall Thrive Player of the Week.

Vote for the top performer from last week in the poll at the bottom of the post and come back every hour to vote again. The poll closes Thursday at 10 p.m. and the winner will receive a shirt and a free training session, courtesy of Thrive.

Thrive Shore Sports Network Week 7 Players of Week

Chelsea Lavezzo, SR., Jackson Memorial – Lavezzo, who did not play her first game with Jackson Memorial until Sept. 22, scored four goals in the opening round of the Central Jersey Group 3 sectional tournament. She scored three straight goals in the first half and added a fourth in the second half to help the Jaguars advance into the quarterfinals.

Molly Cullen, JR., St. Rose – Cullen led St. Rose to an opening round victory in the South Jersey Non-Public B sectional with a hat trick and an assist. Cullen scored back-to-back goals in the first half and had a first-half assist. She added her third goal in the closing minutes of the game.

Makenzie Memmolo, FR., Howell – Memmolo continued her great rookie season, scoring two goals and distributing two assists in her first state playoff game. Against Hightstown, she started the game with an assist in the eighth minute and less than two minutes later, she scored her first goal. She followed the same pattern in the second half, assisting the first goal of the half and scoring less than four minutes later.

Isabella Santucci, JR., Ocean Township – Santucci returned from injury in the opening round of Central Jersey Group 2 sectional after missing a few games with an injury. She continued where she left off, scoring two goals in a 3-1 victory for the Spartans. In the first half, she scored off her own rebound, which ended up being the game-winner. In the second half, she used her speed and footwork to create space and beat the goalkeeper with her blast.

Lorynn Leporino, SR., Lacey - Leporino not only posted a shutout in a game in which she was tested several times, but she also set a personal milestone for her career. Leporino made double-digit saves against Toms RIver South in the opening round of South Jersey Group 3, which included her 300th career save -- a feat she accomplished while missing the majority of her junior season due to injury. 

Ava Agresti, SR., Shore Regional - After failing to win the Central Jersey Group 1 title last year -- the first time that happened during her career -- Agresti made a statement in the opening round against Manville last week. She scored two goals and assisted on another to start her final run in Group 1. Agresti was credited with the game-winner in a 4-0 victory. 

Isabella Merrifield, SR., St. John Vianney - Merrifield scored her 10th goal of the season and what ended up being the game-winner in the opening round of South Jersey Non-Public A. Merrifield finished with a goal and two assists as SJV defeated No. 9 Union City, 4-1. She assisted the first goal of the game to Hayley Jaeger nine minutes into the game and followed that with her own goal in the 15th minute. Merrifield had her second assist early in the second half to seal the game for the Lancers. 

Terri Morgan, JR., Colts Neck - Morgan scored her biggest goal of the season in the opening round of Central Jersey Group 3. In the final minute of regulation, Morgan received the ball inside the box from Valentina Sepulveda and was able to score after a scramble in the box to defeat No. 9 Lawrence.
