Group 2

No. 9 Marlboro 6, St. Rose 0

The Mustangs had six different goal scorers to clinch their spot into the SCT knockout stage. Junior Brooke Gordon scored her fourth goal in three games and sophomore Samantha Arntz scored her third goal of the season. Freshman Jordyn Bauer and junior Anna Haeusser combined for the shutout. 

 

Group 3

Colts Neck 2, Donovan Catholic 1 (OT)

Junior Olivia Gehmann scored the golden goal in the second overtime to help Colts Neck clinch a spot in the SCT knockout round. Gehmann also had the assist on junior Terri Morgan’s first half goal for the Cougars.

No 10 Jackson Memorial 1, No. 16 Monmouth Regional 0

Transfer Chelsea Lavezzo scored the game-winner in the second half in her first game for Jackson Memorial. Junior Gianna Berkley had her fourth shutout of the season for the Jaguars as the clinched first place in SCT Group 4. 

 

Group 5 

No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 8, Manchester 0

RBC scored four goals in each half to clinch first place in SCT Group 5. Senior Mya King scored four goals for the Caseys and junior Cailin Naughton earned her second shutout of the season. 

 

Group 6

No. 2 Manalapan 6, Raritan 0

Manalapan secured first place in SCT Group 6 with its third shutout in the SCT. Senior Sydney Spilsbury scored a hat trick and in her fourth straight game for the Braves. Freshman Kayla Sasso and senior Daniella Falletta both scored their first goals of their careers. 

Toms River East 3, No. 15 Ocean Township 2 (OT)

Senior Peyton Gallagher scored the golden goal off a pass from senior Samantha Sosnicki to give TRE the win and secure a spot in the SCT. 

 

Group 7

No. 5 Central Regional 4, No. 12 Manasquan 1

Central scored three goals in the first half to secure first place in SCT Group 7. Senior Emma Harmon raised her goal total to 14 on the season with a pair of goals. Senior Samantha Versnal and freshman Leah DiCillo both added a goal for the Golden Eagles. Freshman Gabby Restivo scored her first goal of her career for Manasquan. 

 

Group 8 

No. 7 Wall 7, Long Branch 1

Wall had seven different goal scorers to clinch first place in SCT Group 8. Senior Brooke Halbe scored a goal and had an assist for the Knights and sophomore Madison Miller scored her seventh goal of the season. Freshman Layla Bland scored her first goal of her career for Long Branch. 

 

Group 10

Matawan 6, Keyport 0

Matawan had six different goal-scorers to earn three points and stay alive in SCT Group 10. Senior Gianna D’Angelo scored her second goal of the season and assisted on another goal for the Huskies. Junior Rylie Benko and sophomore Hannah Mandeville each added a goal and an assist for Matawan. 

 

Group 11

Lacey 5, Asbury Park 0

Junior Natalie McGovern scored her 10th goal of the season in the opening minute to help Lacey win SCT Group 11. Senior goalkeeper Lorynn Leporino scored the first goal of her career for the Lions.

Group 7

St. John Vianney 4, Ranney 0

Senior Isabella Merrifield scored a hat trick in the first half to help SJV win its first game of the season. Junior Madison Pieloch scored in the second half, her first goal of the season.

 

Regular Season

Class B North

No. 13 Trinity Hall 4, Freehold Boro 0

Junior Bella Anzevino scored two goals for the Monarchs to keep them undefeated in Class B North. Seniors Kaylin McCarthy and Reilly Sullivan both scored a goal and had an assist. Sophomore Emily Venezia earned her third shutout of the season.
