Pingry 3, No. 11 Howell 1

Pingry scored two second-half goals to defeat Howell 3-1. Sophomore Maya Nuwayhid had all three assists and sophomore Kelly Lemanski scored the game-winner in the second half. Junior Ashley Smith scored off junior Madelyn Roberto’s corner kick for Howell. 

 

Immaculata 2, St. John Vianney 1 (OT)

 

No. 6 Middletown South 3, Ridge 0

Middletown South got back on track after losing in overtime on Wednesday to No. 11 Howell. Junior Amanda MacGregor and sophomore Bea Tinoco both scored first-half goals and sophomore Kaleigh Kapler added a second-half goal for the Eagles. Senior goalkeeper Allie Greco earned her second shutout of the season.

No. 7 Wall 3, Somerville 0

Wall scored three second half goals to put away Somerville and win its fourth game of the week. Junior Erin Farrell scored two goals and senior Ellie Hartz scored her first goal of the season for the Knights. 

Rutgers Prep 2, No. 1 Freehold Township 1

Rutgers Prep, the third-ranked team in New Jersey, defeated Freehold Township by scoring twice in the first half. This is the Patriots' first loss to a New Jersey team since Nov. 21, 2021, when they lost to Westfield in the Group 4 final, 1-0. Sophomore Nyla Lopez scored first for Rutgers Prep and junior Addison Halperon scored the second goal and assisted on Lopez’s goal. Junior Courtney Speck scored off a corner kick taken by senior Cassidy Corcione with 18 minutes remaining, but the Patriots could not get the equalizer. 

Bridgewater-Raritan 3, Holmdel 2 (OT)

Sophomore Reese Reimann scored all three goals for Bridgewater-Raritan including the golden goal in the second overtime against Holmdel. Reimann scored the first goal of the game and then the equalizer in the second half to push the game into overtime. Junior Julia Chyzowych tied the game for the Hornets in the first half and then gave them the lead in the second half.

Hunterdon Central 1, No. 2 Manalapan 0

Junior Lila Parente scored the game winner in the second half for Hunterdon Central, giving Manalapan their first defeat of the season. 

No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 3, Hillsborough 0

Senior Mya King scored two goals, giving her seven in her last three games for the Caseys. Freshman Heidi Weirman got her first start and earned a shutout for RBC.
North Hunterdon 1, Shore Regional 0

Senior Hannah Kodat scored her first goal of the season to lift North Hunterdon over Shore.
