Kennedy Lady Knights Holiday Showcase

No. 7 St. Rose 51, Morristown 25 - Sophomore Jada Lynch scored a team-high 13 points to help St. Rose pick up a non-conference victory. Juniors Cassidy Kruesi, Caroline Conforti and sophomore Brooke Missry all scored 8 points for the Purple Roses.

WOBM Classic

Ray Cervino Bracket

No. 4 Wall 53, No. 8  Toms River North 26 - Senior Shayne Eldridge scored 16 out of her 20 points in the first half to help Wall advance into the WOBM Christmas Classic semifinals. Senior Emily Tvrdik scored 6 of her 11 points in the first quarter for Wall as they defeated TRN for the second time this season.  Wall will play Rumson-Fair Haven on Thursday at 7 p.m.

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 51, No. 6 Point Pleasant Boro 28 - Rumson scored 33 second half points to pull away from Point Boro and advance into the semifinal round in the Ray Cervino bracket of the WOBM Christmas Classic. Senior Raquel Guidetti and junior Sylvie Notine both scored a game-high 14 points for Rumson and sophomore Erin Reid scored 10 points and grabbed 9 rebounds.  Junior Emily Marinelli scored a team-high 8 points for Point Boro.

No. 3 Manchester Township 56, No. 7 Middletown South 24 - Senior Devyn Quigley, who set the WOBM record in scoring last year, scored a game-high 31 points to led Manchester into the semifinal round in the Ray Cervino bracket of the WOBM. Freshman Madeline Nolan added 10 points and had 4 steals in the game for Manchester as they advance to play top seeded Red Bank Regional on Thursday at 8:30 p.m. Senior Cassidy Brown playing in her first game of the season scored 10 points for Middletown South.

No. 1 Red Bank Regional 44, No. 5 Toms River East 37 - Junior Caroline Polloway put up a double-double with 14 points and 10 rebounds to help top seeded Red Bank Regional advance into the semifinal round in the Ray Cervino bracket of the WOBM. Camryn Gardner, Zoe Gulley and Synai Blychanton scored 9 points each for RBR. Senior Kaleigh Fitzgibbons knocked down three 3-pointers to finish with a team-high 13 points for TRE.

Kathy Snyder Bracket

No. 15 Lacey 53, No. 12 Brick Memorial 50 - Three players scored double-digits for Lacey in their upset win over Brick Memorial. Senior Brooke Schmidt scored a team-high 18 points and sophomore Ava Schmidt added 13 points. Junior Reece Paget had a double-double with 11 points and 14 rebounds as Lacey advances to play Central Regional in the semifinal round of the Kathy Snyder Bracket in the WOBM.

No. 14 Central Regional 37, No. 10 Donovan Catholic 32 - 

No. 15 Toms River South 49, No. 11 Point Pleasant Beach 42 - TRS was able to hold on to a 17 point lead at halftime to advance into the semifinal round of the Kathy Snyder bracket in the WOBM Christmas Classic. The Indians stormed out to a 16-4 lead in the first quarter with strong defense that resulted in easy baskets. TRS finished the game with 24 steals with freshman Linsey Cribbin leading the way with 6. Cribbin finished with 12 points and junior Madeline Krohn scored a game-high 18 points for TRS. Point Beach fought back in the 4th quarter led by junior Erin Frauenheim who finished with 15 points. TRS will play Middletown North on Thursday at 5:30 p.m..
