Junior attackman Brady Kirk scored five goals and added one assist to reach 100 career assists and lead the Panthers (5-2) to a home victory over the Mustangs (4-5).

Kirk is the first player in program history to record 100 assists. On Wednesday he scored his 100th career goal and recorded his 200th career point to become the Panthers' all-time leader. He has 108 career goals, 21 behind his older brother Aidan for most in program history.

Senior midfielders Gavin Reid and Matt Woit each recorded a goal and an assist and senior Colin Cole made eight saves. Senior midfielders Greyson Ritter and Robert Trapanese added one goal apiece.

 

Middletown South 10, Middletown North 3

Freshman Ryan Colacichi recorded a hat trick and senior attackman Logan Bailin posted two goals and two assists as the Eagles (3-2) won a rivalry battle to hand the Lions (5-1) their first loss of the season.

Senior goalie Sean Burns made eight saves to backstop the victory while junior Kenny Rodriguez went 12-for-18 at the face-off X. Standout senior defenseman Owen Richter scored twice, added an assist, and picked up a game-high 11 ground balls, sophomore Luke Gaffney scored twice, and senior Jake Sawyer had a goal and two assists to help pace the offense.

 

Howell 17, Marlboro 1

Senior attackman Ian McDow totaled four goals and three assists to lead the way for the Rebels (3-5) in their victory over the Mustangs (2-6).

Junior midfielder Nick Turturro tallied three goals and one assist and sophomore attackman Mike Kelly recorded a hat trick for his first varsity goals. Sophomore attackmen Mason Morgan and Travis Kimball and junior midfielder Cam Neubert also scored their first varsity goals. Junior attackman Jayden Devino, senior attackman Jon Peal Pepe, sophomore midfielder Alexzander Mooneyhan, sophomore midfielder Cole Reinsdorf each had a goal and an assist. Junior midfielder Jack Elias went 13-for-15 at the face-off X and junior goalies Adam Baker (7 saves) and John Polukort (1 save) split time in goal.

 

Nonconference

Rumson-Fair Haven 10, New Canaan (CT) 5

Senior midfielders Leo Passalaqua and Andy Croddick delivered two goals and one asisst each and freshman goalie Seamus Gorman made nine saves as the Bulldogs (8-0) remained undefeated by doubling up New Canaan and handing the Rams (8-1) their first loss of the season.

Rumson led 3-2 after the first quarter, 5-3 at halftime, and 9-4 entering the fourth quarter.

New Canaan entered the game ranked No. 3 in Connecticut by LaxNumbers. Rumson is ranked No. 4 in New Jersey by NJ.com.

Junior midfielder Grayson Goldin tallied a goal and three assists, senior attackman Alastair Orr notched a goal and an assist, and junior defenseman Frank Argilagos scored once while helping lead a lone-pole squad that limited New Canaan to five goals. Joseph Whitehouse, DJ Devine, and Luke Lydon also scored once each and senior FOGO Luke Marascio won 10 of 19 face-offs.

 

Red Bank 12, Monroe 4

Senior midfielder Andrew Pape scored four goals and dished out two assists and senior goalie Kyle Borenius made eight saves to steer the Bucs (3-5) to a strong victory over the Falcons (4-2).

Senior Finn Tierney and sophomore Gabe Pape each registered two goals and one assist and sophomore midfielder Ryan Deverin had a goal and two assists. Junior attackman Jack Tavares notched a goal and an assist while freshman Justin Valentino and senior defenseman Matt Kelly each scored once.

Red Bank led 6-0 after the first quarter and took an 8-2 lead into halftime.

 

Wall 7, St. Joseph (Metuchen) 5

Senior Shea Brennan delivered three goals and one assist and senior goalie Lucas Seelinger made 12 saves as the Crimson Knights (2-4) held off the Falcons (3-4) to win a barnburner.

Wall led 5-1 at halftime before St. Joe's roared back to tie the game 5-5 in the fourth quarter. Freshman attackman Parker Quinn scored twice and junior attackman Jackson Lemongelli and sophomore midfielder Patrick Freud each scored once. Sophomore defenseman Justin Davis picked up a team-high six ground balls.

 

Iona Prep (NY) 12, CBA 9

Senior midfielder Cameron D'Alterio and junior defenseman Luke Krebs each scored twice, senior attackman Ryan Martin had a goal and three assists, and senior goalie Brandon Desena made 15 saves for the Colts (5-3) in their road loss to the Gaels (7-3).

Iona Prep led 6-5 at halftime before scoring five times in the third quarter to take an 11-8 lead.

Junior midfielder Hunter Kilpatrick and junior LSM Quinn Kelly had a goal and an assist each, and senior Jack Santos and sophomore Ben Breeden each scored once. Freshman FOGO John Little went 12-for-24 at the face-off X.

Kinnelon 12, Red Bank Catholic 8

Senior attackman Jackson Lu struck for a hat trick to record his 100th career goal and highlight the Caseys' (5-4) performance in their loss to the Colts (6-1). Lu now has 101 goals and 62 assists for his career.

Kinnelon led 7-4 at halftime before RBC scored three goals in the third quarter to cut its deficit to 8-7. The Colts outscored the Caseys 4-1 in the fourth quarter to take home the victory.

Senior attackman Peter Villare also had a hat trick, sophomore midfielder Frank Tackett had a goal and an assist, and freshman Thomas Muniz scored once. Senior goalie Gianvito Viola made 16 saves for his fifth game this season with double-digit saves, and senior midfielder Brian Vecchio won 12 of 21 face-offs.

 

Old Bridge 20, St. John Vianney 8

St. John Vianney led 3-1 after the first quarter but Old Bridge rebounded with six goals in the second quarter and nine more in the third to break the game open and win by a comfortable margin.

Senior Colin Bradley led the Lancers (3-5) with three goals, senior William Keegan had two goals and two assists, and junior Matt Doherty posted two goals and one assist. Sophomore midfielder Max Menkowitz had another superb game with a goal and an assist along with going 22-for-29 at the face-off X. Sophomore goalie Luciano Formica made eight saves and junior Brandon Allen had out two assists.

Luke Kennedy scored six goals and added two assists, Jordan Christensen tallied six goals and one assist, and Dylan Vislocky made 18 saves to lead the Knights (4-4).
