Mater Dei Prep linebacker Juwan Mitchell ended his college recruitment by signing a letter of intent with Lincoln University in Pennsylvania.

The 6’, 240 pound Mitchell was a major part of a Seraphs defense that allowed only 69 points during a 12-0 season which saw them win the Non-Public Group 2 championship in the first season under coach Dino Mangiero. Mitchell earned a spot on the Coaches Class B Central All-Division team and was a Shore Sports Network 3rd team All-Shore selection.

Lincoln University competes in the Central Intercollegiate Athletic Association with schools like Bowie State, Elizabeth City State and Virginia Union. The Lions were 1-9 last year under coach Herb Pickens.
