No. 3 CBA 11, No. 6 Red Bank 9

Senior attackman Matt McGuiness scored three times in the fourth quarter, including the game-tying and game-winning goals, to lead the Colts to a come-from-behind win over the Bucs. Red Bank scored four straight goals to end the third quarter and take a 9-7 lead into the fourth quarter. CBA dominated the final frame to remain undefeated against Shore Conference competition. McGuiness finished with a team-high three goals and two assists, while freshman Nick Casner scored four times and senior Thomas Deiner had a goal and three assists. George Zackman scored five goals with an assist and Cole Smolokoff had a goal and three assists for Red Bank.

 

Howell 15, Middletown South 5

 

 

Class A Central

St. John Vianney 9, St. Rose 3

Christian Byer, T.J. Coleman and Pat Gribbon each scored twice to lead the Lancers past the Purple Roses. Dan Louriero finished with three points and Kyle Boyle picked up a team-high nine ground balls. D.J. Soriano made 14 saves in goal. Matt Frost scored all three St. Rose goals.

 

No. 4 Red Bank Catholic 10, Shore 5

No. 9 Manasquan 7, No. 7 Holmdel 6

Class A South

Jackson Memorial 11, Jackson Liberty 8

Troy Wolf finished with four goals and one assist, and Jeff Galatola had a goal and two assists as the Jaguars won the battle of Jackson against the Lions. Dylan Furnback made 13 saves to earn the win. Joe Leone scored three times for Liberty while Matthew Ferullo and Michael Roche each scored twice. Christopher Mullholland made eight saves.
