Class A North

CBA 9, Freehold Township 6

Freshman attackman Nick Casner scored four goals, senior midfielder Thomas Palisi scored twice and senior attackman Matt McGuiness had a goal and three assists to lead the Colts (6-0, 6-1) to a come-from-behind win over the Patriots (4-4, 2-2). Freehold Township held a 5-2 lead midway through the third quarter before scoring seven unanswered goals to take the lead for good. Evan Bynoe made eight saves in goal for CBA, while Chris Favale stopped six shots for the Patriots. Billy Sasso and Steven O'Brien each scored twice for Freehold Township and Mike Coppa had a goal and two assists.

Nondivisional

Msgr. Donovan at Jackson Liberty - postponed to 5/14

Barnegat 10, St. Rose 5

Matt Manno scored three times and Ricky Gerena, Mark Magoon and Anthony Hause etched scored twice when the Bengals (7-0) remained undefeated by doubling up the Purple Roses (1-4). Matt Frost scored twice for St. Rose.

Shore 10, Middletown North 1

Kurt Hendricksen and Evan Jones each scored three times to lead the Blue Devils (3-5) to a win over the Lions (2-8). Chris Johnson added a pair of goals and Doug Goldsmith finished with a goal and three assists for Shore. Christian Bostwick made 15 saves in goal. Justin Russo scored Middletown North's lone goal.

St. John Vianney 10, Brick 6

Pat Gribbon scored three times and also had three assists, and Christian Byer added three goals and one assist in the Lancers' (6-1) victory over the Green Dragons (4-6). T.J. Coleman and Ryan Gilfillan each scored twice for St. John Vianney. David Kearns had two goals and two assists for Brick.

Nonconference

Southern 12, Eastern 5

Junior attackman Dylan Jinks scored six goals and added four assists to power the Rams (7-1) to a nonconference win over the Vikings (4-5). Brendan Mullen had four goals and Brendan Lefanto made 15 saves.
