Matt Harmon is the man when it came to picking high school football winners this season. The play-by-play voice of the Shore Sports Network came out on top in the season-long standings and capped the season by correctly predicting both of this past weekend’s championship game winners at Rutgers University.

Harmon, a 3-time New Jersey Sportscaster of the Year, insists he was won this friendly competition for three straight years.

Sideline reporter Ed Sarluca, who normally battles to just get out of the basement, had his best season ever and finished second, just two games back of Harmon.

Each week our five Shore Sports Network “football experts” predict the winners of Shore Conference games in a segment sponsored by Bum Rogers Crabhouse in South Seaside Park.

The final standings are below:

Matt Harmon                      166-56

Ed Sarluca                             164-58

Bob Badders                        155-67

Kevin Williams                     154-68

Gregg Lerner                       153-69

Harmon will receive dinner at Bum Rogers on a date to be determined.  Lerner picks up the tab for finishing last.
