Class A South

Brick 14, Toms River South 3

Senior attackman Hunter Palmer had another big game with five goals while freshman midfielder Nick D'Eufemia and junior attackman Brennan Barone each scored twice to lead the Dragons (7-1, 2-1) past the Indians (0-6, 0-2).

 

Class B North

Holmdel 14, Long Branch 0

Sophomore attackman Billy DiMaio led the way with two goals and three assists to pace the Hornets (3-4, 2-1) in their victory over the Green Wave (1-9, 0-3).

 

Shore 16, Ranney 4

Junior midfielder Doug Goldsmith scored two goals, dished out five assists and picked up 14 ground balls to power the Blue Devils (4-5, 1-1) through the Panthers (0-5, 0-3). Jack Britton scored a game-high five goals and had one assist, Chris Johnsen had four goals and two assists and Max Sobrano finished with three goals and two assists.

Jack Torpey led Ranney with a goal and an assist.

 

No. 2 Rumson-Fair Haven 13, No. 8 Ocean 6

Senior attackman Robbie Garavente sank a game-high five goals and added two assists to lead the Bulldogs (4-4, 3-0) to victory against the Spartans (5-1, 2-1). Charlie Curran, Henry Sillen and Colin Pavluk added two goals apiece and Matt Waters finished with a goal and an assist. Connor Deverin and Kyle Knapp split time in goal, with Deverin making seven saves and allowing two goals to earn the win. Knapp finished with eight saves.

Sam Hanna and Erik Rant each scored twice and Joey Appio had a goal and three assists for Ocean. David Walk made 15 saves.

 

Class B South

No. 9 Barnegat 11, St. Rose 8

Junior midfielder J.J. McKenna scored a game-high four goals and had one assist, and senior midfielder Ricky Gerena registered a hat trick as the Bengals (3-1, 1-0) clipped the Purple Roses (2-7, 0-3). Ryan Reynolds added two goals and two assists, Matt Manno had a goal and two assists and Tristian Potts finished with a goal and an assist.

Matt Frost, Scott Dimmit and Griffin McDermott each had two goals and one assist for St. Rose.
