Class A North

No. 2 Manalapan 2, No. 9 Howell 0

Manalapan defeated Howell and picked up an important Class A North victory. Senior Vanessa Sarf scored her fourth goal of the season off a pass from junior Savannah DiSabato and sophomore Daniella Butash knocked in a volley in for the Braves.  Sophomore Leila Shaw picked up the shutout for Manalapan.

No. 14 Marlboro 2, No. 10 St. John Vianney (OT) 

Sophomore Isabella Huttner scored the golden goal off a pass from junior Brooke Gordon to give the Mustangs the upset win. Sophomore Samantha Artnz scored the first goal for Marlboro. 

 

Class A Central

No. 7 Wall 3, Shore Regional 1

Sophomore Madison Miller led Wall with two goals, giving her four on the season. Junior Erynn Richy scored her first goal of the season to give Wall a 3-1 win. Senior Kasey Bazydio scored for Shore Regional. 

Rumson-Fair Haven 7, Raritan 0

Transfer Aubury Scoble scored her first two goals of the season to help Rumson pick up their first win of the season. Rumson scored five goals in the first half and goalies Katie Wells and Anna Marshall combined for the shutout. Senior Ella Mason scored one goal and added two assists for the Bulldogs. 

Red Bank Regional 3, Holmdel 2

Senior Leila Castell had a goal and an assist to lead RBR in their first Class A Central victory. Seniors Abigail Murphy and Carolyn McCallion both scored for the Bucs and sophomore goalkeeper Harper Brechman had 10 saves in the victory.

 

 

Class A South

No. 4 Brick Memorial 6, Southern Regional 0

The Mustangs scored five goals in the first half and junior goalkeeper Giselle Lizardi earned her first career shutout in a 6-0 victory. Senior Gabby Hernandez led Brick Memorial with two goals and an assist and senior Mia Caruso added two goals.

No. 5 Central Regional 3, No. 11 Jackson Memorial 2

Senior Laura Woermer scored the game winner late in the second half to give Central Regional a leg up in Class A South. Senior Emma Harmon continued to stay hot, scoring her sixth goal of the season and adding two assists. Senior Samantha Versnal also scored in the first half for the Golden Eagles. Senior Renee Wanzor scored both her goals in the first half for the Jaguars, giving her four on the season. 

Toms River North 6, Toms River East 1

Toms River North scored four goals in the second half, two by senior Alexis Garcia, to defeat Toms River East 6-1. Garcia scored her first goal on a free kick 40 yards away that sailed right over goalie Addison Husenica’s hands. She added her second goal late on a penalty kick. Senior Kaylee Nagle scored the first goal of the game in the 25th minute after a scramble in the box for the loose ball. Junior Angelina DeCesare scored a goal in the first half and one in the second half for the Mariners. 

Toms River South 4, Brick Township 0

 

Class B North

Trinity Hall 1, No. 13 Ocean Township 0

Senior Kaylin McCarthy knocked in a cross from sophomore Caroline Ferguson to give Trinity Hall an upset win in their first game of the season. Sophomore Emily Venezia worked hard to pick up her first shutout of the season for the Monarchs. Ocean had several chances to tie the game, but could not take advantage of Natalie Feniger’s well-placed free kicks in both halves. 

No. 12 Manasquan 7, Neptune 0

Manasquan rebounded from yesterday’s defeat to earn a Class B North victory over Neptune. The Warriors had six different goal-scorers with junior Tess O’Reilly scoring two goals. Sophomore Jordyn Hollawell scored her first goal of her career and added an assist for Manasquan.

 

Class B Central

Monmouth Regional 2, St. Rose 1 (OT)

Junior Jenna Chalpowski scored both goals for Monmouth Regional, her second coming on the golden goal with 20 seconds left in the first overtime. Chalpowski has five goals early in the season. 

Ranney 6, Keyport 0

No. 15 Point Beach 6, vs Asbury Park 0

 

Class B South

Jackson Liberty 3, Manchester 2

Junior Delaney Spalthoff stayed hot, scoring her second goal and the game-winner with less than five minutes to play. Spalthoff brings her total to six goals on the season and freshman Ali Zambor scored her second goal off an assist from Spalthoff. Freshman Gracie Maurer scored the first goal of her career in the first half for Manchester and sophomore Madison Cubbison scored a goal in the second half. 

Barnegat 5, Pinelands 0  

Junior Kaitlin Lutcza scored two goals and assisted on two other goals as Barnegat defeated Pinelands in Class B South. The Bengals had four different goal scorers and goalies Jamie White and Camryn Gartner combined for the shutout. 

No. 8 Point Boro 7, No. 16 Lacey 2  

Junior Abby Hannemann scored a hat trick and senior Kyleigh Cilento added two more goals as Point Boro established themselves as the top team in Class B South. Cilento, who has five goals on the season, also added an assist in the game. Junior Mackenzie Brotherson scored her fourth goal of the season for Lacey. 

 

Non Divisional

Middletown North 6, Long Branch 2

 

Non Conference

No. 3 Red Bank Catholic 5, Hun School 0

Senior Mya King had a hat trick in the first half for the Caseys as they defeated the Hun School. Senior Molly Sheehan had three assists and junior Cailin Naughton earned her first shutout of the season.
