Jacobs was feeling it from behind the arc all last week, draining 11 three-pointers in three games.

It started with the senior scoring 12 points on four threes in a win over Freehold Boro, Jacobs kept it rolling with 15 more points on four more triples in a win over Long Branch and finished off her sharp-shooting week with nine points on three threes vs. Middletown North.

Jacobs claimed the Week 6 prize with 45 percent of the vote, which was 19 percent more than runner-up Martine Chevalier of Central. As the latest Seaview Orthopaedics Player of the Week in girls basketball for the 2021-22 season, Jacobs will be awarded a $25 gift card to Jersey Mike's.
