Hackensack Meridian Health will be hosting a free seminar Thursday discussing the latest changes and trends in the approach and treatment of concussions which has become a great concern among high school athletic officials. Aimed at drawing Athletic Trainers, Athletic Directors and Coaches “Sports Concussion Management for High School Athletes” will be held in the private library at Two River Theater in Red Bank from 5:30-7:30.

New York Giant Hall of Fame linebacker Harry Carson will open the program and later participate in a panel discussion with athletic trainers. Speakers will include Kristine Kean, Psy.D, Stephanie Reynolds, D.O. and Jeremy Norman, PT, DPT and they will cover topics including concussion treatment alternatives, research, and emergency procedures. Prospective attendees may be interested in knowing that application for 2.0 credentialed CEU’s have been formally submitted.
