Girls

(5) Manasquan 61, (2) St. Rose 41

The Warriors (20-5) rolled past the Purple Roses (23-3) to win their first SCT title since 1983 and third in school history as junior guard Courtney Hagaman had a game-high 20 points on 7-for-14 shooting, including 3-for-5 from 3-point range, and junior Marina Mabrey had 18 points, 11 rebounds, 4 assists and 3 steals to lead the way.

Senior center Sam Sullivan added 11 points and 5 assists in the win. Sarah Kurtz led St. Rose with 13 points in the loss.

Manasquan stormed out to an 18-2 lead and held St. Rose without a field goal for the first 13:27 of the game before Kurtz ended the drought with a long three from the top of the key. The Purple Roses pulled to within 12 by halftime, but the Warriors stared the third quarter on a 12-2 run to open the game up.

Boys

(1) Point Beach 49, (2) CBA 41

The Garnet Gulls won their first SCT title in program history as senior point guard Matt Farrell had a game-high 25 points and senior forward Dom Uhl added 10 to lead the way past the Colts.

Sophomore Pat Andree had a team-high 23 points in the loss for CBA. Andree hit two 3-pointers to open the third quarter and give the Colts a 27-21, but Point Beach went on a 14-2 run over the next 6:10 of the game to go up 35-29. Farrell highlighted the run with a three-pointer as time expired in the third quarter, puttning the Garnet Gulls ahead, 33-29 heading into the fourth quarter.

Senior Noah Yates also added eight points for Point Beach.
