For the second straight year, a historic season for Wall boys basketball ended at Brick Memorial in the Group III semifinal, this time to Timber Creek in overtime.
Wall erased a five-point deficit in the final 40 seconds of regulation and pulled out a 56-51 win over rival Neptune to win its second straight Central Group III championship.
Clinging to a one point lead late in the 4th quarter, junior Logan Peters connected with junior Casey Larkin on a play that "might have saved the day" for Wall.

Led by Logan Peters and Casey Larkin, Wall racked up 300-plus yards on the ground, held St. John Vianney in the red, and clinched at least a share of the Colonial Division title.
Despite some key injuries last year, Wall capped 2018 ranked in the Shore Sports Network Top 10. With a load of talent back and a clean bill of health, the expectations are even higher in 2019.
Logan Peters scored the game-winning goal in overtime and Sean DeMott had a monster game in goal to lead Wall to a 10-9 overtime win over Rumson-Fair Haven.
