NJSIAA Tournament, Semifinal Round, Central Jersey, Group 3

5-Brick Memorial 0, 1-Princeton 2 (25-14, 25-7)

The Mustangs (17-8) strong campaign came to a close as they were taken down by Princeton (27-1) in straight sets. Isabella Cottrell led the Mustangs with 7 digs in the loss. The Mustangs took a monumental leap from last year, taking a four-win program to 17.

NJSIAA Tournament, Semifinal Round, South Jersey, Group 3

6-Timber Creek 0, 2-Pinelands 2 (25-13, 25-10)

The Wildcats (18-10) advanced to the SJG3 sectional finals after taking down Timber Creek (14-8) in dominating fashion over the course of two sets. Jill Becker had a fantastic performance, leading all with 17 kills and 10 digs while adding 11 service points in the victory. Heidi Cyphert led all with 11 service points while adding 6 digs for Pinelands. Nicole Tarnacki added 7 kills for the Wildcats. Pinelands will take on the winner of No. 5 Toms River East and No. 1 Mainland.

5-Toms River East 0, 1-Mainland 2 (25-20, 25-22)

The magical run of the Raiders (12-11) came to an end as the were taken down by Mainland (18-7) in a tightly contested two-set matchup. Sadie Kent led the way for Mainland, leading all with 30 assists. Bradee Boyd added 11 kills in the victory. It’ll be Pinelands on the road at Mainland next week for the SJG3 sectional final.

NJSIAA Tournament, Semifinal Round, South Jersey, Group 4

5- Lenape 0, 1- Southern 2 (25-11, 25-16)

The best player in the state of New Jersey continued to dominate for Southern Regional (29-2), as Molly Regulski helped the program soar into the SJG4 sectional finals for the second year in a row. Regulski led all with 19 assists on the day while adding 3 digs, a block and a kill in the two-set win over Lenape (20-7). Jordyn Hamlin contributed in strong way for Southern, adding 7 digs, 7 service points and 5 kills in the victory.
