Week 10 featured the NJSIAA section semifinals for the public schools and the start of the non-public playoffs. Here are the top playoff performances from this past weekend.

 

Week 10 Shore Conference Football Playoff Performers of the Week

Blaise Boland, Jr., LB, Toms River North

Boland registered eight tackles with 1.5 sacks, a forced fumble, and two tackles for loss in the Mariners' 54-13 win over Freehold Township in the Central Jersey Group 5 semifinals.

 

Nick Carnevale, Sr., WR, Freehold Township

Carnevale caught seven passes for 84 yards and a touchdown in the Patriots' 54-13 defeat at the hands of Toms River North in the Central Jersey Group 5 semifinals.

 

Mike Consolazio, Sr., LB, Marlboro

Marlboro's defense was incredible in its 12-0 shutout win over Hillsborough in the South Jersey Group 5 semifinals and Consolazio had another big game with nine total tackles, a sack, and two tackles for loss to help lead the Mustangs to their first sectional final since 1994.

 

Tareq Council, Sr., WR/DB/PR, Toms River North

Council returned a punt 67 yards for a touchdown and had another long punt return that set up a touchdown in the Mariners' 54-13 win over Freehold Township in the Central Jersey Group 5 semifinals.

 

Da'Von Craft, Sr. RB/LB, Long Branch

Craft ran for 112 yards and a touchdown and added a sack and a tackle for loss on defense when Long Branch shut down previously undefeated Brick Memorial, 21-7, in the Central Jersey Group 4 semifinals.

 

Jake Croce, Sr., RB, Point Boro

Croce ran for 126 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries to become Point Boro's all-time leading rusher and help lead the Panthers to a 49-21 win over Cinnaminson in the Central Jersey Group 2 semifinals. Croce now has 3,446 yards rushing.

 

Micah Ford, Sr. QB/S, Toms River North

Ford looked as healthy as ever during Toms River North's 54-13 win over Freehold Township in the Central Jersey Group 5 semifinals, completed 3 of 4 passes for 112 yards and two touchdowns, rushing for 120 yards and two touchdowns on 11 carries, and returning an interception 25 yards for a touchdown.

 

Jackson Gallagher, Sr., TE, Rumson-Fair Haven

Gallagher had another huge playoff performance by catching three passes for 116 yards and two touchdowns, including an 85-yard touchdown reception, in Rumson's 28-7 win over Haddon Heights in the South Jersey Group 2 semifinals.

 

Luke Houston, Jr., DB, Marlboro

Houston had a career day in one of the biggest games in program history, snagging three interceptions as part of six turnovers forced by Marlboro's defense in a 12-0 shutout of Hillsborough in the South Jersey Group 5 semifinals that sent the Mustangs to their first sectional final since 1994.

 

Kellen Murray, So., RB, Rumson-Fair Haven

Murray ran for 121 yards and a touchdown on 16 carries to help lead the Bulldogs to a 28-7 win over Haddon Heights in the South Jersey Group 2 semifinals.

 

Matt Oliphant, Sr., QB, Point Boro

Oliphant continued his outstanding senior season with 179 yards rushing and a touchdown on just eight carries and touchdown passes of 38 and 44 yards to senior Brian Simoes in the Panthers' 49-21 win over Cinnaminson in the Central Jersey Group 2 semifinals.

 

Dante Priolo, Sr., K, Donovan Catholic

Priolo connected on a walk-off 30-yard field goal and also went 4-for-4 on extra points to give Donovan Catholic a 31-28 win over Paramus Catholic in the first round of the Non-Public A playoffs.

 

Earnest Reevey, Sr. QB, Long Branch

Playing in his third game since having a hard cast removed from a broken hand suffered in Week 0, Reevey completed 5 of 6 passes for 132 yards and a touchdown and ran for 53 yards and a touchdown on 14 carries to lead the Green Wave to a 21-7 upset win over previously undefeated Brick Memorial in the Central Jersey Group 4 semifinals.

 

Chris Scully, Sr., RB, Colts Neck

Even though the Cougars had their season end via a 49-7 loss to undefeated Mainland in the South Jersey Group 4 finals, Scully concluded his record-breaking career with another 100-yard effort. He ran for 135 yards and a touchdown on 22 carries to finish the season with a school-record 1,702 yards plus 24 touchdowns. He is Colts Neck's all-time leading rusher with 3,820 yards.
