Girls Basketball – Shore Conference Week 2 Player of the Week: Caroline Polloway

The Basketball Player of the Week has been a staple of Shore Sports Network's coverage over the years and we have always left it up to the fans to decide the winner -- and still do.  Now, SSN is recognizing its own choices for Player of the Week, not just in the Shore Conference, but in Monmouth and Ocean Counties individually.

Shore Conference Week 2 Player of the Week Presented by Surf Taco

Caroline Polloway, Red Bank Regional

Polloway helped lead Red Bank Regional win three straight games to win their first WOBM Christmas Classic title and was named Most Valuable Player in the Ray Cervino bracket averaging a double-double. 

In the opening round against Toms River East, Polloway was able to use her height advantage to score a team-high 14 points and grab 10 rebounds and block 5 shots. She followed that with 15 points and 14 rebounds against Manchester in the semifinal round. 

Polloway’s best performance came against Wall in the finals. She took control in the second half scoring 14 of her team-high 19 points and grabbed 13 rebounds.
