Victories in five of the final seven bouts, including pins by Kyle Epperly and Brad Galassi and a triple-overtime win by Lance Hobbs, enabled the Jaguars to rally past the Rams in an instant classic.
With Jackson trailing 25-22 with two bouts left and needing a win to stay alive, Hobbs defeated Nate Bischoff, 2-1 in ultimate tiebreaker with a rideout at 120 pounds, to tie the score and set up senior Vinny Scollo to clinch the match with a win at 126 pounds. Setting up the late surge was a pin by junior Kyle Epperly, who avenged a loss to Ben LoPara with a first-period fall at 195 pounds. Galassi then won by fall at heavyweight and Brett Blaess followed with a win at 106 pounds to tie the score at 22.
