Class A North

No. 1 Manalapan 6, Howell 0

Ryan Hammer led Manalapan's five-goal outburst in the first half with two goals and an assist and the Braves hammered the Rebels to remain the Shore's lone unbeaten team. Adam Weisberger and G.J. Lockhart also scored a goal and an assist each for Manalapan, while Mitchell Volis and Dan Natoli scored a goal a piece. Rob Pratka chipped in two assists in the win.

Freehold 4, Marlboro 3

Andy Rizo notched a hat trick to help the Colonials survived a back-and-forth game against the Mustangs. Dom Matteo scored the other goal for Freehold. Ben Metzger scored two goals and assisted a goal by Bryan DaSilva.

No. 5 Freehold Twp. 5, Middletown South 0

Chris Hoskins scored a goal to go with two assists and the Patriots handled the Eagles. Sean O'Connell added a goal and an assist, while Chris Anello, Mark Fasano and Nick Facendo each found the back of the net with a goal.

CBA 1, Middletown North 0 (OT)

Junior Nick Meyer scored the golden goal in the final minute of the second overtime period and the Colts won a thriller over the Lions, ending Middletown North's five-game unbeaten streak.

 

Class A Central

Rumson-Fair Haven 2, Monmouth 1

Danny Susser and Jamie Martin each scored a goal and the Bulldogs cooled off the Falcons to continue a jumbled Class A Central race.

St. John Vianney 1, Raritan 0

David Kamenar flicked a free kick by Christian Bruno into the goal from 12 yards out with his head in the 27th minute and the Lancers held off the Rockets for their third straight win.

No. 10 Matawan 3, Holmdel 1

Matt Isaacson tied the game with a free kick in the 54th minute and Alex Cella converted a penalty kick in the 64th after being taken down on a breakaway as the Huskies rallied from a one-goal halftime deficit to hand the Hornets their fourth straight loss. Abisai Gutierrez added an insurance goal a minute after Cella's go-ahead goal off a Bronson Dhume assist.

 

Class B North

No. 7 Wall 2, No. 9 Colts Neck 0

Joe Tashjy opened the scoring off a pass from Brendan Barcas in the 53rd minute and assisted Gerardo Medina's goal in the 68th to help lead the Crimson Knights to their second win over the Cougars this season.

Ocean 5, Red Bank Catholic 3

The Spartans scored four unanswered goals after going down 1-0 and held off a late charge by Red Bank Catholic to beat the Caseys. Joe Abrams and Jordan Ornowski each scored before halftime to send Ocean to the intermission with a 2-1 lead before Wadneson Alexis and Claudio Martins added second-half goals to stake the Spartans to a 4-1 lead. Alexis and Martins each added an assist, as did Marlhens Nasanes and Teddy Eugenis.

Kevin Davey opened the scoring for RBC in the 13th minute, 52 seconds before Abrams equalized for Ocean. Chris Cesario and freshman Sebastian Pena scored in the 61st and 67th minutes, respectively, to pull the Caseys within a goal, but an own goal in the 70th gave Ocean a two-goal cushion and capped the scoring.

No. 6 Red Bank 5, Neptune 2

Justin Gilson recorded his second hat trick of the season, including the winning goal in the 56th minute to break a 2-2 tie and deliver the Bucs a win over the Scarlet Fliers. Sam MacPherson added two insurance goals in the 57th and 60th minutes, including a penalty kick to make it 4-2.

Urial Santiago equalized for Neptune in the 22nd minute to send Neptune and Red Bank into halftime tied at 1 and Tyler Schembri scored in the 54th minute to tie the game at 2. Dylan Fogerty found Justin Gilson for the go-ahead goal 1:25 after Schembri tied the game.

 

Class B Central

Henry Hudson 3, Keyport 1

Derrick Lucas scored two goals and Christian Farwell added a score - all in the first half - to help lead the Admirals to a win over the Red Raiders, their first Class B Central division win since 2011. Brendan O'Brien broke up the shutout with a goal in the 70th minute for Keyport.
